Ken, Akuma, Kyo Kusanagi, Sol Badguy and Nightmare/Siegfried for me.Okay, so other than Heihachi, what other fighting game characters would excite many people?

...and the ability to dress up Eevee can stay. That's a feature that can bridge the gap of hardcore and casual fans.If you consider selling ten million at least poorly.
Honestly, the Let's Go games will sell well. I just hope Gamefreak doesn't take that as a sign to put some of Let's Go's features into the main games.
except following and rideable Pokemon, that can stay.
I think Zangief would be cool, but as I said earlier, I don't think I'm personally gonna get too excited over anyone from another fighting game. That doesn't mean I won't like them, I probably would end up liking them, they're just not characters that I'm gonna feel any huge amount of hype for.Okay, so other than Heihachi, what other fighting game characters would excite many people?
There's selling poor and then there is selling poor by Pokemon standards. I think Let's Go will do well, but will sell poorly by Pokemon standards. Personally I'm thinking no more than 8 million.Has a Pokemon game ever sold poorly?
I know the answer must be yes.
Probably some spinoff game. Pokemon Dash, or BOX...Has a Pokemon game ever sold poorly?
I know the answer must be yes.
If K. Rool see this he’s going to shoot you with the blast-o-matic and Ridley would just kill you in generalBut...but..but......
I'd cut Ridley and K Rool if I had to to keep trophies, and they were my most wanted newcomers.
That was just the E3 demo. From the early gameplay they shown so far, seems like you start with your mandatory Pikachu/Eevee + a starter (one of the 3). The footage with the gym battle against Brock shows Bulbasaur being used in the Gym battles. But it's early gameplay so there's no way to be sure yet.
Pokemon Let's Go is gonna be catnip for the more casual Pokemon fan. And there's no shortage of them. There's selling poor and then there is selling poor by Pokemon standards. I think Let's Go will do well, but will sell poorly by Pokemon standards. Personally I'm thinking no more than 8 million.
To be honest I could totally see GF thinking "Well, we promised our core fans that the Let's Go games would have no influence on the mainline ones. So let's not implement following/rideable Pokemon in those ones"If you consider selling ten million at least poorly.

My deviantart phase made me acquainted with it, even if I didn't want to be.You say that like you're familiar with it
Trophies are a crucial part of Smash's identity to me. Trophies are a better part of Smash than All-star mode, break the target, adventure mode, and Homerun contest combined. I love all those, but I stand by that.If K. Rool see this he’s going to shoot you with the blast-o-matic and Ridley would just kill you in general
What would that accomplish that trophies already don't thoI really hope they do away with trophies in Ultimate. They're just a pain to collect and don't really add anything to the game. Just think of all the resources devoted to trophies that could be allocated elsewhere. Instead of having trophies they could incorporate an interactive timeline of Nintendo history similar to the Kirby timeline from Kirby's Dream Collection.
Whoa, a Pokemon game with handholding? Never seen that before. I just wish modern Pokemon is the extreme, hardcore, absolutely unforgiving experience I always remembered it to be.What's that? the fans didn't like Let's Go!
Was it the hand-holding, the removal of wild battles and more Kanto?
No, clearly Pokemon following you, one of the most requested features in Pokemon history, is to blame for this.
They've amped up the handholding from a 10 to like a million. Besides, Gen 7 has plenty of challenging moments, especially if you turn of the Exp.Share.Whoa, a Pokemon game with handholding? Never seen that before. I just wish modern Pokemon is the extreme, hardcore, absolutely unforgiving experience I always remembered it to be.
I know that Let's Go is a dumbed down version of Pokemon but IMO it's not much of a loss when I could blow through most mainline games with my starter. Removing wild battles is BS though, everyone should have to suffer through those.
I am fairly certain the announcement that this was NOT the main game, makes it pretty clear that Pokemon is going in a strong direction. If you consider selling ten million at least poorly.

Well, considering the forecast , get used to it...My deviantart phase made me acquainted with it, even if I didn't want to be.
It is true that pokemon has never been hard, but that's why they shouldn't have made it easier.Whoa, a Pokemon game with handholding? Never seen that before. I just wish modern Pokemon is the extreme, hardcore, absolutely unforgiving experience I always remembered it to be.

Out of all the 73 characters so far why choose them? If there's other characters who are less deserving that could be removed instead like Bayonetta, Cloud, Corrin, etc.? Who exactly was even asking for them?Trophies are a crucial part of Smash's identity to me. Trophies are a better part of Smash than All-star mode, break the target, adventure mode, and Homerun contest combined. I love all those, but I stand by that.
Clearly Sakurai has decided this is the game to cater to reptile fetishes. Expect more to come.Well, considering the forecast , get used to it...

Because K Rool and Ridley are my favorites. I feel so strongly that trophies should stay in, I'd be willing to sacrifice my absolute favorite characters in the entire cast to keep trophies. Why choose them though if there's other characters that could be removed instead like Bayonetta, Cloud, Corrin, etc.? Who exactly was even asking for them?
Nothing really. I'm arguing that it would be a better choice because it would easier for the developers to make. What would that accomplish that trophies already don't tho
I don't necessarily agree with your complaints at all, but I guess I get them. But dang, having a full remake of Yellow that looks fantastic is not even close to what I'd call zero content.I'm voting with my wallet and skipping Let's Go all together.
I'm a pokemon fanatic. As a kid, I was trying to collect pennies and quarters to save up for a DS for Platinum when my mom took pity on me and bought me one for my birthday. I found a used copy of Pokemon Silver for sale at a book store of all places and begged my mom to buy it for me even though it was already outdated at that point (and I played it to death to). I begged and begged my mom for a Wii so I could play Pokemon Battle Revolution (and Brawl, but my parents never bought me that because I had no friends to play it with. Which was untrue by the way, I have two sisters close to my age and they're great friends.) I've got a nearly complete living National Dex. I mained Charizard in Smash 4 even before his D-throw and U-throw buffs and Mewtwo before Abadongo proved he was good.
But Pokemon Go is clearly one step forward and twenty steps back. No pokemon beyond gen one? Even more handholding then before? Online capabilities being almost nonexistant compared to previous games? I thought Pokemon was a franchise I'd tolerate anything from, but somehow I just can't get hyped for Let's Go. Now if they were selling it as a budget title for 30$ maybe I'd forgive it sonewhat, but instead they're selling it as a full 60$ game despite having like zero content. Pokemon 2019 better be good to make up for it. Meanwhile I think I'll just do that Sun nuzloche I was thinking about doing when it releases instead.
I just hope that game has content with gym leaders and league battles up to level 80 at least. I hate finishing a game where my Pokémon only need to be level 50 to destroy everything aside from a tower of randoms I care nothing for.It is true that pokemon has never been hard, but that's why they shouldn't have made it easier.
You can't enter Brock's gym without a grass or water type, that's an issue.
He does like to pull a few bait-and-switch moves, but he does tend to resolve them right away. "Unfortunately ZSS had to get cut. Lol no!" or Dedede popping up in K.Rool's trailer and laughing, only to be swatted away a few seconds later.Man, I know I've said it before as a joke, but where do people get the impression that Sakurai is a troll? Is it just because he jokes around sometimes? I personally don't treat that as trolling, but eh, to each their own.
Expect it'll focus mostly on the features of the online thing and why we should pay $20/year for it, including infor on cloud saves and free NES games. Plus a few games that will make use of online and how that'll be affected. What are your expectations/dreams/fears for the next Direct?
I don't understand what you're trying to say.I am fairly certain the announcement that this was NOT the main game, makes it pretty clear that Pokemon is going in a strong direction.
Have your cake, and also eat it.
But...Mewtwo is at the end of them game? Are you just going ot have a team of 5 until you have beaten the Elite Four?Honestly man, that's great.
I'm happy you could find enjoyment in something that I couldn't, but this game really isn't doing it for me. Which sucks because I usually love Pokemon.
I might get it to waste some time before Smash, but I probably won't enjoy it.
I'm doing a "Smash run" of the game (using only ) so maybe that'll spice the game up for me. We'll see.
I never asked for Cloud, but you just try your damndest to take him from me. I dare you, Mr. Crocodile.Out of all the 73 characters so far why choose them? If there's other characters that could be removed instead like Bayonetta, Cloud, Corrin, etc.? Who exactly was even asking for them?
Most trophies are of already existing models, so a timeline would just be less text, different UI elements and if you want to do more than Brawl's chronicle, images rather than models. It's less work but also less content. I know we have lots of stuff already in the game but suddenly going from hundreds of trophies to none in what's supposed to be Ultimate/Special Smash would be very weird.Nothing really. I'm arguing that it would be a better choice because it would easier for the developers to make.
90% of trophies are just model imports from their respective games. It's not that much work to be honest. Melee was the only one where they were all made from zero.Nothing really. I'm arguing that it would be a better choice because it would easier for the developers to make.
Because two games of the same series are not going to be released back to back if they compete directly with each others market. Let's Go will still be selling well after the Holiday, theres no reason to make it compete with another game that is essentially itself.I don't understand what you're trying to say.
I know they said the true main game would come out next year, but what's stopping them from making next year's game overly simple as well?
I'm not asking for Dark Souls with Pokemon, but I replayed Pokemon Platinum recently and when I got to the late game I got my world rocked.
that's all i'm asking for, bring that challenge back. They had it before, why'd they get rid of it?
Younger people. The pampering is real. They had it before, why'd they get rid of it?
One's an character owned by Nintendo who was frequently requested over the years, the other is one that barely had any history with them. Do the math and fite me.I never asked for Cloud, but you just try your damndest to take him from me. I dare you, Mr. Croc. I'll run in zigzags!
In Mewtwo's place i'll use that special New Pokemon until I can get it.But...Mewtwo is at the end of them game? Are you just going ot have a team of 5 until you have beaten the Elite Four?
Say what know?It is true that pokemon has never been hard, but that's why they shouldn't have made it easier.
You can't enter Brock's gym without a grass or water type, that's an issue.
For me personally, Terry Bogard, Geese, Yoshimitsu, Chun-Li, and Nightmare would be pretty hype. Any one of those would make a lot of people happy.Okay, so other than Heihachi, what other fighting game characters would excite many people?
Zero new content, I mean. And I'll admit it's got some things going for it. Partner Pokemon following you around is a returning feature I've wanted for forever. Pokemon Go compatibility is something that needed to happen, although only being able to transfer the original 150 is a huge let down. And the graphics are nice but aren't blowing my mind. I could always go replay my old copy of Fire Red and probably not miss out on too much, especially if Gen 8 has partner Pokemon as well.I don't necessarily agree with your complaints at all, but I guess I get them. But dang, having a full remake of Yellow that looks fantastic is not even close to what I'd call zero content.
