Honestly I’d be ok with Terry in Smash. It's not Heihachi or Tekken related, but something like in a Smash game would be insane tbh.
Regular trophies? noneWhat trophies have been shown off in Ultimate?
None, if you can believe it.What trophies have been shown off in Ultimate?
So far, none. What trophies have been shown off in Ultimate?
Yeah, I expect that as well, it does seem like the right place to officially reveal a game such as Prime 4.I'd expect Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 info at The Game Awards. Nintendo supports the hell out if that thing. Pikmin 4 is as mysterious as it is "complete". Seriously, Miyamoto said it was what, 80% complete like 3 years ago? That development cycle is stressful to even me.
Honestly I'm "old" at this point and enjoyed the relief that no drama everyone I cared about is back (and everyone I didn't care about as a bonus). Everyone is here was also a big moment, and honestly, a few big moments in what is ultimately a very short pre-release cycle (less than half of Brawl's!) is worth more than a dripfeed to me. My satisfaction here comes from imagining the big picture and how everything will work together, and they've given that pretty optimally.Went to the NintenZone social thread to talk about non-smash stuff and ended up talking about Smash anyways, so I just came back here.
The blog would have been more interesting if they didn't reveal that all previous characters were returning at E3. I know that Sakurai just wants to stay ahead of the leaks, but I miss the Brawl and Smash 4 days of speculating about which characters were going to return.
I feel like Pikmin games aren't even developed, they're just brought into existence through arcane rituals at a shrine built around a Louie plush.I'd expect Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 info at The Game Awards. I'll take it from here NoipoiWell, I'm a Trubbish fan, so feel free to rip on that if you need to get even
I'm glad they immediately revealed everyone is back, but if they still said that but held off on the individual spotlight videos on the blog until their day, then I'd wake up every morning excited to open up the blog to see a glimpse of each character.Honestly I'm "old" at this point and enjoyed the relief that no drama everyone I cared about is back (and everyone I didn't care about as a bonus). Also I really can't say I enjoyed dumb stuff like explaining to people in Brawl's pre-release that Ness wasn't cut because of Lucas's reveal mentioning him and in fact it was probably the opposite. I was right, but it's not fun to see people carry on and on about something obviously wrong and then, months later when they're proven as wrong as they obviously were from the beginning, they say Sakurai is a troll and misled them when it was obvious exactly what he meant from the very beginning...
I have never wanted a game based solely off its title before.Yoshi's Flippy Ding-Dong Dippy
I'd be really disappointed. I could sit for hours just looking at all the trophies I collected, reading their descriptions and just enjoying the model.Imagine if regular Trophies don't come back.
None, if you can believe it.
Normal trophies, not assist trophies.
So far, none.
I really hope they do away with trophies in Ultimate. They're just a pain to collect and don't really add anything to the game. Just think of all the resources devoted to trophies that could be allocated elsewhere. Instead of having trophies they could incorporate an interactive timeline of Nintendo history similar to the Kirby timeline from Kirby's Dream Collection.Imagine if regular Trophies don't come back.
If Yoshi just had better titles, watch the sales EXPLODE!!!I have never wanted a game based solely off its title before.
And now I do.
If you consider trolling as purposefully misleading or joking with someone, then Sakurai could be considered a troll.Man, I know I've said it before as a joke, but where do people get the impression that Sakurai is a troll? Is it just because he jokes around sometimes? I personally don't treat that as trolling, but eh, to each their own.
I mean, he does do the ol' bait and switch a lot. Just look at the K. Rool trailer.Man, I know I've said it before as a joke, but where do people get the impression that Sakurai is a troll? Is it just because he jokes around sometimes? I personally don't treat that as trolling, but eh, to each their own.
I liked Gen 1 - Johto is infinitely superior - but I'm pretty excited for this. Yeah, it's annoying that the grinding mechanics are being dumbed down, but...I guarantee you it's literally just a Pokemon Yellow remake with nothing different except for the Pokemon Go mechanics copy-pasted in to appeal to the mobile market.
Great for the kiddies, sucks for anyone else not blinded by Kanto nostalgia.
Gen 8 can't come soon enough...
chunli, akuma, ken, nightmare, after that you are really out of big icons that could get in. mk wont happen so thats it.Okay, so other than Heihachi, what other fighting game characters would excite many people?
Heihachi wouldn’t excite me. Only Nightmare and Morrigan.Okay, so other than Heihachi, what other fighting game characters would excite many people?
But...but..but......I really hope they do away with trophies in Ultimate. They're just a pain to collect and don't really add anything to the game. Just think of all the resources devoted to trophies that could be allocated elsewhere. Been out of the loop. Why would this be the case? I legit am lost with this whole music theory businessThe music theory is more just "does Nintendo have common sense in how they do blog updates?"
If the answer is yes, then Geno was just deconfirmed.
Problem is, we can't be sure they do have common sense in how to run this blog because they posted all the character overview videos at once, making 90% of the blog updates completely pointless, discouraging people from following the blog daily.
Honestly I wouldn’t be shocked if people started wars and riots over no more Smash newcomers months before the game releases...but atleast we don’t have to live in that worldA few minutes later...
Yeah, that's true. I guess I just never thought of them as trolls because he never tried to lead us on, he's always very quick to say if something he said was just a joke, just as you said. I usually think of negative things when it comes to trolling, so that's probably why I feel confused sometimes lol.If you consider trolling as purposefully misleading or joking with someone, then Sakurai could be considered a troll.
But Sakurai never "trolls" for long. Like back at E3 with the THE END (just kidding) or in K Rool's trailer with Dedede,. He jokes, but he never misleads you for a long time. he's always quick to take it back.
Sol Badguy (or any Guilty Gear rep)Okay, so other than Heihachi, what other fighting game characters would excite many people?
Has a Pokemon game ever sold poorly? What's that? the fans didn't like Let's Go!
Was it the hand-holding, the removal of wild battles and more Kanto?
No, clearly Pokemon following you, one of the most requested features in Pokemon history, is to blame for this.
Reptile, Riptor, Aeon Calcos...Okay, so other than Heihachi, what other fighting game characters would excite many people?
Honestly man, that's great.I liked Gen 1 - Johto is infinitely superior - but I'm pretty excited for this. Yeah, it's annoying that the grinding mechanics are being dumbed down, but...
This is what makes it a day 1 purchase for me. My boi Arcanine! And you can ride him! **** YES!
Also, I'm really hoping that it's a port of Yellow more than anything else so I can get all three starters. I consider a Pokémon game wasted if I can't have in my team. I've based my team around them since about 2008.
...yeah, I don't thing any character can hype me to the level that I was for . As much as I wanted Riddles to get in since the fans deserved it after all this time, E3's best announcement was hands down.
I can feel the raw scalie energy from this post.Reptile, Riptor, Aeon Calcos...
Not for any particular reason
I'm honestly picturing going to Gamestop to pre-order it and just not keeping a straight face.If Yoshi just had better titles, watch the sales EXPLODE!!!
Varies on your definition of poor. Crystal is the worst selling to date at 6.39 million though.Has a Pokemon game ever sold poorly?
I know the answer must be yes.
I'd prefer the Chronicle like in Brawl; brief, concise, tidy, informative and can include silly odds and ends, like the Hamtaro games.I really hope they do away with trophies in Ultimate. They're just a pain to collect and don't really add anything to the game. Just think of all the resources devoted to trophies that could be allocated elsewhere. Instead of having trophies they could incorporate an interactive timeline of Nintendo history similar to the Kirby timeline from Kirby's Dream Collection.
It is basically Pikmin Forever at this point. But yeah, Pikmin 4 has really confused me. Way back when in 2015 when it was first talked about I hoped it hit the Wii U in 2016. Of course it didn't and that was ok. I then expected it to hit the Switch last year, but it didn't. At the time I thought Nintendo was holding it back due to a rather filled slate. I then assumed it would be this year, but nope. I'm done assuming at this point lol.
Glad to see someone is enthusiastic about this game. I on the other hand, am not to sure about it.I liked Gen 1 - Johto is infinitely superior - but I'm pretty excited for this. Yeah, it's annoying that the grinding mechanics are being dumbed down, but...

If you consider selling ten million at least poorly.Has a Pokemon game ever sold poorly?
I know the answer must be yes.
From the early gameplay they shown so far, seems like you start with your mandatory Pikachu/Eevee + a starter (or). The footage with the gym battle shows Bulbasaur being used in the Gym battles. But it's early gameplay so there's no way to be sure yet. Also, I'm really hoping that it's a port of Yellow more than anything else so I can get all three starters. You say that like you're familiar with itI can feel the raw scalie energy from this post.
