Yeah, I don't disagree. All I'm saying is they need to fix those things to have Yoshi make a substantial move in the tier list.

Slightly unpopular opinion, but I believe the stage that accompanies Elma should not be NLA OR Primordia. Primordia is basically Gaur Plain 2.0 with grassy plains, mountains and lakes, and NLA...just doesn’t really do it for me imo

I’d prefer either Oblivia, Noctilum or Sylvalum. Split strongest between Noctilum (Telethia the Endbringer stage boss!!) or Sylvalum (best continent music at night, gorgeous weather effects, unique biome)

Noctilum would be awesome, but I'd prefer NLA just because there's very few "city" stages un Smash.
But whatever stage they choose, I hope it has Noctilum's theme:

Huh... I didn't even notice that Yoshi wasn't in the E3 demo. He's the only OG 8 to be left out too. Sakurai's doin' him dirty as far as promotional material goes.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone advocate for Primordia as a stage.

Making most of Yoshi's standard attacks have minimal start-up lag would be a good start. His weight may be slightly above average, but he's not exactly what one would call a heavy hitter.

GTA is certainly a ginormous franchise, more so than most, if not all, of the common third parties people request, but I really, really doubt Sakurai/Nintendo would put GTA even 50 feet from Smash Bros.
Snake gets a pass because MGS has a lot of fantastical elements to it, but GTA has as realistic violence as a video game can possibly get. The game is about realistic violence.

Tbh sometimes I feel like the NES era's is Nintendo's equivalent of the "Genwun" pandering that's been plaguing the Pokemon franchise lately. I get that It's one of Nintendo's beginnings as a games company so they like to make lots of callbacks to it and all in their games but.... Can we please get somebody from the SNES or Game Boy era instead this time or something (Besides Pokemon and Daisy)?

Ke personally; I think the problem with Pokemon is that they've been really pandering the casual audience of the game. I mean I never played Sun and Moon but bought Ultra Moon and the 3 hour tutorial and cutscenes that doesn't really add anything made me not complete the game. I am very mad that they brutally nerfed the Elite Four to the point where they're a joke after 4th gen too. I miss 3rd/4th gen in general. Give me muh Garchomp. I also prefer sprites as well. I use to enjoy Pokemon.....
