edit: btw I've updated the OP with what gym leader rules I have so far. I've also updated the challenge rule so that one of the 3 characters people choose must fit with the requirements for the thunder badge.

so toby said that he's going to put in a 9th badge which is me, but you only have to get 8 to vs the elite four, something like that.

Yeah basically its a nice little mechanism in case somebody finds it impossible to beat one gym leader or another. It also makes it easier for people to obtain the badges if they have limited travel opportunity.

Some sort of challenge related to the Mario Pros would be fun.

Jokes aside, the only reason I have to cut a VIC player is because you already have 2 elite four and 2 gym leaders. Giving you guys 5 and cutting QLD or NSW down to 3 wouldn't be very fair.

Thanks cobalt. Remember that we can't give ourselves massive advantages with the rules (ie no shadow moses!) because leaders have a natural advantage as it is. If you have any problems with the rule making just let me know

its true though, I would have lost that match if it werent for that whole uptilt thing.
cheerleaders and mentors are different things, but since you just admitted that your a cheerleader I'm just gonna go ahead and assume your gay.

Also have we decided what the challenge frequency is? I think that you should be allowed to challenge a gym leader once per tourney no more, and if you beat that leader then you may challenge another gym leader if another is present, but if you lose thats it and you have to wait till next time. thoughts?

ok shaya, if its too easy, scratch it, cause i know something better.

whenever a player concedes a stock in a match against me (myself included to keep it fair-ish), they must put there controller down and do 10 push ups before they can pick it up again. if your invincibility runs out before you complete the 10, consider yourself fsmashed. in a 3 round match, you might have to do 80 push ups hehehe

If the Leaders and Elite four consist of the twelve best Brawlers in Australia, how many people are you expecting to be able to defeat the Smash League in its entirety? They are supposed to be the best, so by that logic, the only ones skilled enough to defeat them all are already included in the League.

According to my brother Vyse has only placed 4th once. Yet he gets on the list.

Don't think i'm getting angry about this, not at all, im just giving some critique on choices for gym leaders. If ur aim was to put the 12 best brawlers in aus as gym leaders, u did a half good job. I'd only change a few people myself.
and why is cobalt a measly gym leader, wasn't he regarded as being best in aus?
