I can't ban Smashville or Final Destination? That's ****ing stupid, that means characters who benefit from the flat ground and lack of platform centric stages get to ban stages they dislike and keep their good ones and all other characters are just gonna have to deal with playing on FD and Smashville for sure.
I'm don't really care for conservatism or not but it's pretty easy to see when ****s getting stupid. 6 stages with the same banning options we've always had is better than that. Just because Japan da bess doesn't mean their ruleset is the most fair and stuff, and rulesets aren't what made them the best. That ruleset is awfully close to "hey Tibs and Attila, you know the two guys who are the best in our scene? Yeah well now you get to pick any stage you want as a counterpick also we won't counterpick you anywhere nasty anymore ok because you guys really need a handicap".
Extending the stagelist 2 or 4 stages more I think would be beneficial tbh but no biggie.

I would agree with billy as well but to be fair, I don't generally like the *** ruleset that much either so it creates a huge bias on my side. But yeah, I would hate to not be able to ban FD against diddy players. Makes it a bit silly with no neutral bans allowed.
But anyway, I wont be attending this monthly like I said before so Jei can whip up whatever ruleset he wants to use I guess. (Probably the one we were going to use at the LAN, but not enough people showed to even try it out lol.)
