And for the record, I don't believe in the traditional acceptance of what the afterlife would be, I don't believe in God, heaven or hell, but at the same time I find it hard to believe our conciousness just vanishes from existence and that we lose any realisation of anything.

Once you die thats it it's over your gone you won't go anywhere else only your soul goes somewhere and thats the end of the chapter no one is going to make a sequal to your life.

I think it'd be different for everyone. I'm not gay, so I can't speak from personal experience, however I do have friends who are. I've known people who have always been gay, and I've known people who have been shaped by the events in their lives. It's not something that can boil down to one or the other.

Since ily, I'll respond. I'm attracted to females. Very much so. Although every now and then I'll find a male aesthetically pleasing. Not in a sexual manner, just in a "that's a good looking dude." church accepts gays but doesn't let them do "unholy" acts. yet the church preaches of love and junk. i think its wrong so i dont believe in that part of the church cause i got hax i can do so.
shall we talk about gay marriage instead? or nercos or bisxuals or beastility XD
i am against gay marriage... but its just a word. gay union is fine, should be entitled same legal effects of marriage.

Alzi. You don't choose your emotions, nor the type of chemicals that your body produce. As I am fairly certain it's chemical reactions within your body or a specific gland or muscle in your brain, that's not exactly choice.
Choosing your sexual preference is like choosing what food you like. You don't control it, it's just what your body wants. (No offense to the people who are intelligent enough not to need this, but it just seems like one of the few ways Alzi would get it, though I doubt he will)

No, it's generally based on the effects of the society and whats around them.
Once again, Nature v Nurture. There are many factors that can contribute to someone wanting to commit suicide. However, as Nova said, it's the action rather than the thought.
Most regular people who live a normal life have thought about suicide at one point or another.
