The Falco MU is really dependant upon the type of Falco you're playing against. Because Falco has the ability to Zone with lasers, it makes the MU worse for Zelda seeing as her movement isnt fantastic.

Now if you have a Falco who doesnt laser a lot, you have more options in how you can act/move etc.

Also I thought the IC's MU would be worse. huh..

In terms of those matchups, in my opinion I think the ratios look like this

Fox: 80/20 Fox's favor
Falco: 65/35 Falco's favor
Puff: 65/35 Puff's favor
Peach: 70/30 Peach
Marth: 70/30 Marth
Falcon: 75/25 Falcon
Sheik: 15/85 Sheik
IC: 60/40 Zelda

I think ratios can change per stage too. Like on Dreamland Fox can make himself invincible by running circles around you with those stupidly high platforms.

We don't have a definitive list, but this is just my latest opinion on the match-ups (I took into consideration GK's opinion on ICs a couple pages back):

And I was looking at the old match-up thread just for kicks(unintentional Zelda pun), it was interesting to see where people's heads were at a couple years ago. Cosmo was talking about how ridiculous Marth can be if he plays it perfectly, and I agree.

Sometimes I feel like Puff is harder for Zelda than we think. If Puff crouches in front of us, or just crouches in general, what can we do to her? SH kick seems really obvious, and downsmash seems highly susceptible to CC.

If she crouches near her I say just put up your shield and wavedash away until she does something. It's a waiting game, but if you're smart enough and not too hasty the matchup doesn't feel too bad.

I'm not sure what you're getting at, but it doesn't make sense to me so you're probably wrong.

Zelda has no practical answer to Puff's aerial mobility + bair if she attacks from the angles where Zelda's kicks don't defend her. This is also problematic.

My decision on that matchup changed to be the way it is recently

Up until around march I though it was basically even

Plus lol if you think my matches with Juan at a tourney I was running could possibly determine how I feel about a matchup

I don't know when I became the laughing stock of the Zelda boards

But I guess I'll just stay in NC threads for now

I seriously have no idea how you guys do it. I get annoyed when I only have "decent" answers for my opponents stuff. I can't imagine what it's like having nothing in so many situations.

Unplug your controller in the middle of a match and you might start to get a feel for what it's like. Or you could just play blindfolded. Or you could play using your feet. Using your feet might get you into that lightning kick mindset actually so I'd probably recommend that one most of all.
