It wasn't supposed to be insulting.
That first sentence about "how I do" was not meant to be related to the part about PP, but rather to the rest of my post.
The part about PP was just playful sarcasm separate from everything else, and happened to be placed in between.

The Lake was really fun to see today. And play against. Fighting against Zelda is so weird. Especially as Zelda, lol. But good games :D

you can throw hitboxes around smarter than the other player.
In fact, I learned how to beat TheLake.

I like wavedash OoS lots as Zelda vs Falco. And I'm not averse to platform movement.
Then again, I've never played vs a top level Falco.

Wavedash oos is important with Zelda but iunno how helpful it can be vs high/top level falco's, I feel like any Zelda would still get hit by falco's _______

Yeah definitely! Man, the first few years that I played this game I hated all ditto matchups but now I really like them. I've only done zelda dittos two times ever (that I can remember) since no one I ever play against uses her, so it should be a lot of fun. Kawn, PNaleek, and Maxwell2swell are the only zelda mains I've ever met. Do you actually main her?GKI, will you be ready for some Zelda dittos when you come out here?

I have only done them once with TheLake; a few months ago when he was here for a tournament (it was a friendly), and after one game we just played other characters lol. It was still fun though.
And I do actually main her, but I haven't always. I started with Sheik around 2 years ago, then decided to pick up Fox because I wanted to press more buttons. I then traveled to an Illinois tournament (Sakurai Can't Save You Now 4) last November and watching Cosmo inspired me to play her. That tournament, to my knowledge, was the last one he went to before becoming inactive. I regret not playing/talking to him at all but I didn't really think anything of it at the time.
But yeah Zelda has since become my best character and I use her for every match-up beside Sheik, where in that case I'll just do the ditto. In friendlies of course, I have to play other characters to keep myself entertained.

Define 'pretty bad.' Even if you assume that it's in peach's favor it's not by that much imo

Its winnable, but its defs in Peach's Favour. Zelda struggles with characters that can Zone well. Peach is one of these. Turnips all day!

Not nearly as bad as Sheik or Falcon, but I think Peach wins by a good amount. Not really a close MU. Maybe 60-40 or slightly worse.

This is just my opinion on the raw match-ups (going down the MBR tier list in order), and I want to know what you guys think too. It would be cool if we all posted our thoughts and averaged the numbers or something.

I'd put falco at 40:60, marth at 30:70, and ICs at 60:40, otherwise I agree with what you put. Falco has like super combos, and plays hella super option coverage bros, and you have no real oos game vs good Falco's. You can still get some mean combos in though (I've been experimenting with Upthrow -> downsmash at like mid percents), and good edgeguarding (same viceversa); lasers arent too bad either, but they can still cause grief.
