Yeah, it gets desynced when frames are dropped, I dropped a good amount of frames in some of them, so the audio got desynced. But eh, atleast they're watchable. Don't need audio like you said.

And yeah, I like your aggressive style, but sometimes I think you lost yourself in it. Took a load of damage for things you didn't really need to while trying to get some kills, but you pulled through. Really smart gameplay though.

Do you particularly like the MK matchup? Because I love it and find it amazingly fun, would just like to compare with others. I don't like Snake though, but you seem well versed in both.

Yea I always get ***** for being too aggressive lol.

Yea I like MK as well I actually try to always play that MU super aggro because i've found when I don't run around and make things happen he can pick Sheik apart with ftilt and dtilt fairly easily, it's a lot harder for him to wall Sheik when she's using her frame data to keep up with him. He ftilts really well and he dies at 87% from a grab release DACUS so you can take stocks from him pretty quick if you're on your game. Only thing I dislike about that MU is that he completely destroys Sheik offstage.....like Sheik shouldn't be getting back to the ledge 75% of the time if the MK knows how to play against Sheik.

Snake is gay and never dies so screw that MU. I've played literally over 1,000 Sheik-Snake matches since the game came out and somehow I still suck at the matchup<_<

Hmm, I like to play the MK matchup as an opportunist really. I just like to take my time, and needle him whenever he decides to not approach me, and if he does, when he ****s up just get heavy damage on him with Ftilts/Grabs etc. I need to perfect my grab release, got a new controller, the R button is TOO NEW to dacus with it so I'm forced to use the claw method until I break in my new controller. Only at like 40% accuracy which is pretty bad for me lol. But all in all probably my favorite matchup, and my favorite to learn from as it's one that if I don't play perfectly, then I kinda get *****. Being over him is terrible. Being offstage can be terrible. Dunno, it's just so fun.

I don't LIKE the Snake MU, but I'm not terrible at it. It's just really frustrating knowing it takes 200% to kill him and like 95% to kill us.

In general I think Orion pointed it out clearly to me, it's something I knew from before while playing the Snake MU, but I never like really adapted to it. I jump WAY too much, when I really should just play ground based. I've got to get the jumpiness (HAH, GET IT? GET IT?) out of my playstyle and play more calm.

I don't think there are any good MKs capable of doing that LOL. even then I've never felt like I was autogimped playing sheik vs MK. maybe I should try it vs Jason next time I go to the US. Sheik definitely gets ****ed up or has to deal with resets by landing w/ vanish or something onstage then getting hit back off lol but, 75% is a bit.... well drastic a number LOL.

It's not like ganon or something.

Honestly Orion, it may not be 75% but it is damn awful.

I MEAN AWFUL!

But this is if the MK knows your recovery habits and mixups.
theres a lot of situations that are pretty bad if someone knows your habits and mixups LOL

dont get me wrong i agree but that was a bad way of describing it XD

pretty much if mk reads you, you likely will die or take massive damage(and/or reset) if they are flawless execution wise. so being smart, knowing how to react and developing all of your mixups are extremely important

Well obviously. We're all tournament players here thats common sense. The thing is Sheiks recovery really doesn't have any possible mixups that are safe or unpredictable against MK. I can do a couple extremely bold/risky things like explode while he's on the ledge and use that tiny window to aim for the ledge instead of the stage or attempt to bair him during my double jump but these are both options that more than likely you can only use a couple times during a set without getting hard read.

Probly a little bit of an exaggerration but not really. If he knows to take away your option to chain the ledge and can force you to vanish he's pretty much guaranteed for the reset

Next time your on the WC of the U.S. you can play my MK with Sheik in tourny:bee:.

One mixup that works surprisingly well for how counter-intuitive it is, is to burn double jump -> upB immediately when near the ledge and within reach of the stage, especially if they have been going really aggro and hitting your other options (or if they're trying to do that Rain-style upB gimp). The upB's wind up is usually done so by the time you're halfway through your double jump and doing the upB, the invincibility is there. Only really works on if they go full ****** and get overconfident with aerials and shuttle loop, but man, it seems to work more than it should o_O, and they start respecting your recovery a little. Saw Cross/Earth do it a couple of times and wondered how they got away with it, until I realized how the little hop of the upB sorta mixes in with your second jump, and makes it look seamless, when in reality, the first part of your upB (the most vulnerable) is already done.

Problem is, they just have to grab the ledge to take away most of your options :p

Yeah I really blew good leads on both games last stocks, def gonna have to work on that.

Yee the quality isn't the greatest, but I think all i did was miss a grab.

Unless you mean after i got knocked up, in which case I'm pretty certain I just air dodged, then charged needles afterwards. But since I'm black sheik on the white part of Lylat airdodging on low quality its almost impossible to tell what I'm actually doing.

Good ****, Tutu. Very impressive. Can I ask why you didn't just take ledge when trying to edgeguard TL in those situations game one?

Also, can we GR Dacus TL? I drilled this MU a little bit vs Quivo earlier in the week, but I wasn't sure.

I don't believe we have a grab release on Tink, and edgeguarding Tink is more of a hassle as he has enough tools to actually annoy you off of the ledge with little damage. Imo it's best to just wait it out and let him get back on stage. He's an annoying little cartoon.

Thank you for jab cancel-> kills you can be way more aggressive with jabs especially from behind. snake just isn't fast enough to answer jabs from behind with anything but sheild and he can't punish you out of shield from behind.

You can use UpB to punish a lot of those landings (even with nade) with zero risk. A well timed UpB beats EVERY possible option even comand grabs air dodges and counters, even a few stalls. the only way to beat it is to not be there.
fox, jiggs, MK, and falco and kirby to a much lesser extent are the only characters who are going to have a huge say in when how and where they land at any given moment after the second jump is gone. and even then you can still punish habits you observe.

learn those ftilt->usmash percents for snake helps SO MUCH with the match up put it up there in priority with grusmash for MK I'd say its huge and once you understand it it really can change how much damage you take in matchups.

I've got a tournament next week, and another the week after that, I should have some new videos up soon! Also getting a new capture card, so that should be grand also. Expect new videos! I may also upload some wifi (GASP, I KNOW) matches I've had against some good players. I know it's wifi but that's all I play when it's not a tournament. But yeah, expect some new videos!

Zelda isn't for everyone. I've warned of this lmao. You either practice her, or stay away from her. I've blown Matches with Zelda countless timeS but I've also won many times. You either have to dedicate time to her or completely stay away from her.

Got to get back into shape, been practicing for this upcoming tournament this weekend, but today I decided to learn some stuff with other characters, and now it feels like YEARS since I've used Sheik.

Nah...Zelda and Sheik are just commonly grouped together. Zelda/Sheik is 16th on the Japanese tier list. I don't think I've seen any of the Z/S Mains in Japan actively use Zelda in their matches besides like, Earth, in friendlies only.

That's what I imagine because I really haven't found any recent Zelda vids from Japan. I wanna know what they are like!!

Gonna watch those after class! Been practicing hard again lol.
