  • I have no details yet on when we plan to arrive, though you would have to ask Snake if he can pick you up.
Me, Snake, and No Skillz are confirmed. Metal Pat posted he is interested, though he can't confirm until Friday.
They might. I'll have to talk to them about it because I'm not too sure how they feel about someone I don't really know coming over. Although since I hosted that tourney it may not be as big of a deal, but I haven't smashed with anyone irl besides L-Don outside of tournies.

Also, my wii's been spazzing up and giving me the green error code screen. It hasn't happened during games, but it happens fairly often and now Toon Link is unplayable until I send it in to get fixed.
The musical is over, so I'm not really busy anymore.

You don't have my new phone number. It's 201-515-0027. Just hit me up when you want to play. It'll give me motivation to clean my attic, too. @_@

Sharky be slacking. I'll have to whip him into shape.
I don't plan on attending anything next weekend (the 10th), but I'm definitely going to have a VERY open schedule after this weekend is over. The school musical is finally putting on the show this weekend, and I've been in rehearsals all day every day for a while.

I do plan on going to a tournament on the 17th, but I dunno if you'll be here still. I might be busy on the 16th because it's my birthday (yayyyyyyyyyyyy), and I do still have school that week. XD
He did well at the last event he went to, so I'm guessing he's improved. He's a solid player, and he's good with juggles (we call them Sharky UAirs, lol). The problem I see with him is that he gets flustered easily, and then his mind goes down the crapper.
Pretty much just Wario. On occasion maybe MK or Ice Climbers or G&W, but that's very rare of me now. Wario's been my most reliable character for a while.
Sorry I know nothing about buses. There may be one and I can research it later when my cpu gets fixed. In the mean time I've got nothing.
    I didn't sleep. Buttloads of homework. I'm so tired. ;_;

Yeah, I need to break the Oli MU. I got beat pretty hard. Gotta readapt to his options.
We'll be driving. It's only about an hour away from Cresskill. I don't think I could house you, but I do believe there'll be enough room in a car for you to come with.

You should definitely register for singles. This is THE LAST Apex. It'll probably be the biggest tournament for Brawl ever. Do it.
I will be going. I'm housing like, 10 people. Mostly Yoshis and a few people they're bringing.
I've done some pretty cool stuff, usually at bigger events. I've gotten 2nd out of about 13 or 17 at a small house tournament Vinnie had one time. Otherwise I keep getting close to top 8 at larger events. I got 9th out of about 130ish at KTAR6 and 17th out of about 100 at CoT5 (a national with a bit of a small turnout for one).

I still really only play Yoshi in tournament, although I've been working up my Ness again since I used to main him at one point. I don't really have any true secondaries at the moment.
It's pretty much the same. ADHD doesn't play much anymore. Dabuz/Vinnie have been taking top spots in NJ/NY consistently. We've been running some MK banned events. M2K lives here again, I think...

Nothing much has changed in general except for people getting better. We've got some new players, like False, who are pretty good. He's another Snake main.
Um, do you still have my phone number? You should probably call me first, but it's okay otherwise.

I do have a Wii now, in fact! It's my friend's that he never bothers to take back.
Oh my god I was talking about you in one of the more recent times I'd gone to play. Yesssssssssssssssss.

I'm pretty much available after this...Friday.
I got homebrew on my wii and used an hack that allow me to slow the game down to frame by frame. If someone does test this make sure they have the character they are testing DI upward so you can get an exact number. Once that's done you can test with the hard landing which will greatly add to the frame adv for sheik.

May I make a suggestion for the video thread?
Instead of having everything collapsed, only have a specific character's videos collapsed.
Steal the pictures from this thread: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=185253
Then under each character make the little collapse thing and put vids vs them in there. At the bottom make a combo vid section.

Also... that thread needs cleand out. There are a lot of old videos. A lot of members have went to tournies this semester/quarter. Try to only have those matches with the exception of matches that are just to epic to leave or if it is the only video vs that character.
    My "Let's Play" Channel (click)

Just wanted to let you know about my Let's Play series I've got going on. Basically, I play blind playthroughs of video games you guys request and that's it. :bee:

I'm currently playing Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) and Yoshi's Island (SNES) and I've already finished a Mega Man 10 (Wii) LP as well.

Just want to invite you in on the fun if you haven't heard about it. If you like the videos definitely subscribe to my channel and post on my wall so we can discuss what other kinds of games you'd like to watch me play!

    Thanks for the support.
I'm afraid I don't have the data. Once upon I time I did do some testing but I stop when I learned how much di can effect the results. If they di up on the 2nd jab then they can avoid what I think is called a "hard landing" which greatly reduces their stun. Once I learned that I must of saw a butterfly or something and had to chase it because I never went back to testing.

Yea my laptop is broke so ive been using wiinet for the last month lol i have aim: marsulas22.....but dont expect me to be on there ever lol. hopefully i can get my computer fixed soon.
    Don't play level ninnnnnnnnnnnnnes.

I actually don't know what to tell you so you can practice. It's hard without other people. =/
Mah boy with the **** talk. =P

Apex was THE event of the year. Everyone shoulda gone to it.

And yeah, Ksizzle did **** WC. We won pretty handily.

    DEHF/Larry (Falco)
    Snakeeeeeeeeeeeeee (ZSS)

I lost to Larry 0-2. I almost had him game 2, but Delfino saved him at the perfect time on his last stock. It was my last chance, too, because I was at like, 130%. =[

I don't know the Zero Suit Match up, so I was confused against Snakee and lost 1-2. I'd say I did pretty well.

Hyyyyyyyyyyyype and sorry for REALLY late response. Urk.
    Pools 2:

    Lain (ICs)
    Kadaj (Marth then MK twice)
    Future (ICs)
    dextasmurf (2-1)
    Zucco (0-2)

Lain was the first good ICs I've ever played, so I was caught off guard and lost to him 0-2. It wasn't too bad, though. Zucco plays Lucario, who I hate. I hate that character. It's so gay. Lost 0-2. Then I played Future, another ICs and won 2-0 with help from Sharky, another Yoshi who practices the MU with Cura a lot. Then I played smurf, who I lost game 1 to, took him to Lylat, then won on his CP of Delfino pretty handily. Kadaj went Marth game 1, which I beat in a pretty close game, then lost to his MK on Frigate, then timed him out game 3 on Lylat. Game 3 featured me being down about 80% but camping it out to gain a lead on my second stock, teching a stage spike at around 160%, and then getting a GR Usmash kill. I then air camp stalled for a minute, respawning and falling off the platform at about 4 seconds left, where he then quit. I was so nervous.
Wow I check my VMs not very frequently. **** it.

Apex was hpye in general. Any tournament match featuring Rain or Brood was hype. Brood vs. M2K was especially hyped up. There was also Nicole (Peach) vs. Anti, which she made very close, although she lost. Ksizzle also took like, 18 stocks off of WC in the crew battle. San beat Razer in bracket, with a wall fthrow infinite game 3 on Delfino's Shine Tower. Inui got 3 stocked by Swordguard, then 3 stocked him back game 3 for the set win. Inferno almost beat Holy Nightmare.

    My bracket stuff was like:

    Pools 1:
    Sphere (Pit)
    Tantalus (Rob/MK)

Kiwi scared the **** out of me. Game 3, she kirbycided me for the win game 1, and almost pulled it off game 3 but SD'd because of it. She's mad good. I did a lot better than usual against Ninjalink. Lost 1-2 to Tantalus, beating his Rob then losing to MK twice. Beat Dynomite easily, and Sphere wasn't that good.
He also has all of the spotdodge animation to prepare himself for the punish. It's really not that difficult. =[
