But the magic is a combination of a few factors:
- setting width and height of video to 0

and more importantly:
- autoplay + loop for youtube videos (!!!!!!!!?!!)

Brawl community will get some more respect but there will always be people (melee players, streetfighter players) that will never respect brawl as a competitive fighting game.

Smash at the core never was the total embodyment of a fighter game. We use % n a damage gauge not stamina/health bars. We fight on platforms, not on a boxed area with no blast zones. We use button input to 'create' combos, and they use button combinations to preform combos

it is a fighter in a dynamically different way, when you start thinking about smash in deeper levels you begin to feel and see the fighter side to itself.

i believe it is something that other fighter games will never ever truly begin to appreciate untill they actually play at the levels we play at. I like smash because it is a step outside the traditional fighter genre, but also because it has alot of heart and character to it

levels are influenced by games characters come from, the characters sound n play like they would in their own respected games-- yea we argue that sonic might have a sucky nair, or that MK is broken, but at least we've found something that we've all have some sort of deep attachment in whether it be just playing xx character and having fun or being the best on your character of choice





as for me welp im totally content right now gingerly holding my ddd plush and waddle d plush ^___^
