@Warp I'd love to go to a smashfest, i have no idea where Bright's house is though.... i'm hoping its close or something though, cause I don't have a car.

Aaaaa, **** man. Yea it sucks, i haven't been able to smash at all cause I dont have TV. I have been scouring craigslist though. So hopefully soon. We could always smash at your place though, unless you dont have a TV also.

I guess we'll just have to wait til friday man.

We need tv's if anyone can bring them. I have one I'm bringing, but i'm not sure when i'll get there. Bright has some tv's but they may or may not have a slight bit of lag.

There will be some HD TVs there and one standard definition TV. Some people complain about the lag, some people do not feel the lag. So feel free to bring TVs if you want. I personally feel that the lag is miniscule (for brawl, like 8milliseconds or so). Also, I do not have a melee setup, so melee people will have to bring that themselves.

I have never tried playing melee on a HDTV. For the most part, most people I asked do not feel the lag. We currently have 2 HD tvs and 1 standard. A 4th will be coming at around 730 (warpstatus).

Also, I'm not sure how many melee people are coming, so I do not know if you will have people to play with until later in the night. No one in my apartment can play melee well. We suck bad at melee, but we are decent in brawl.

I left my GC controller up in San Jose, CA and I know this Melee Smashfest will probably be "Bring Your Own Controller," but is there any chance someone will let me use their spare controller?

Dante says he might let me use a spare controller if he ends up showing up which will be around 7PM.

The lag varies depending on which HD TV I play on. I played on some very laggy ones before and some not so laggy ones where it did not seem to affect my gameplay. I don't really have a problem making a transition from a HD tv to a standard one at my place.
