I don't mind Luigi's with Diddy because I have super secret broken hax, and Nick likes the stage in general. But I can see it being super broken in singles in some matchups and for certain characters (like Olimar for one).

stage list is great the way it is but u might want to add some mk stages like luigis mansion, big blue, hannabow(sp?), and maybe wario ware

Nah, It's abusing the rocket barrels on the ceilings of the stage. Not game breaking, but can be surprising.

But characters like MK can abuse the pseudo-loop and Olimar can camp like a mofo, which is why I'm afraid of adding it.

Hanenbow is good for doubles. Big Blue is just lame like it was in Melee and Wario ware has random effects like invincibility or size changes, which is bad.

delfino is an excellent starter

u dont want halberd or castle siege or lylat because some characters are at great disadvantage

Stage striking solves that issue.
And yet, I still don't think it's balanced as a top 5 starter.
