Really? I think Katara is a great character. She's such a strong female lead and can hold her own against other benders. She's not weak willed and doesn't fall for Aang in any immediate or obvious way. I think that's she's a great character. I love her.

especially after she learned to bloodbend which arguably made her the strongest character aside from aang, but of course she too much of a ***** to use it effectively

i understand her importance to the story, and as the lead female role, but, theres so many times when im like KATARA STFU.

Then Jane you should stop being such a hater. I love Katara and I never find her annoying. Only in some parts in season 1 was her dialog bad, but at that time the writers were just starting so EVERYONE's dialog was bad.

And bloodbending can only be used during a full moon. And not only that, but there is something very morally wrong with doing it and I know I would never use it except in the most dire situations.

ill be the first to admit, im a katara hater . shes easily my least favorite character in the series, even though, like i said before, i do realize her importance in the story. it most definitely would not be that show i love with all my heart without her.

but thats the thing about this show, you grow such strong connections to the characters, whether they be positive or negative, the fact that i feel like shes that "annoying *** older sister", i think its just part of watching and loving the show. growing likes and dislikes for different characters.

Yeah that's the good thing about this show. That we actually care about the characters. And sometimes we all just hate a character/person for no reason, it's just human nature. lol

I can't think of any of the major characters in the show that I hate or find annoying.
