also consider the reaction of your choice, and which will lead to more evidence.
you dont nessiarly have to kill the known mafia straight away. known mafia a useless, and can be ignored and dealt with by a vigilante or lynched later or when nessiary.

Are you kidding me arrow? Known mafia need to be lynched now so we don't kill off a townie unnecessarily. Also the reactions to the idea of killing off a known mafia will help identify all other mafia.

~_~ a publicly known mafia is a death sentance so you will still get your reactions. of people twisting and turning things. the only thing that comes from killing them right away is gaining more trust in the people who reconmended it, which can be a good or bad thing.

plus if they are kept around, you can just lynch them later BECAUSE, the people who dont want to lynch the obvious mafia, are also mafia, obviously.

but by all means go ahead and kill the mafia if you got no other leads to follow. however we are still in the lead you gotta take advatange and take a risk.

Listing the conclusions you would draw from leaving around/lynching straight away is like giving the mafia the opportunity to blend in more by doing the opposite of what you'd expect. I think if there's anyone suspected of mafia it's better to lynch them straight away. I believe mafia making kneejerk reactions to try to save someone means mafia making mistakes. Or not, this IS my first game of mafia. I might still be a little silly when it comes to the game.

ANYWAY, to the buisness end. As I previously noted in one of my posts this day, I had a few suspicions one particular groups and ideas on how to narrow down the suspicion and as it seems no one has gotten voting rolling yet.

Reasons behind the vote:
this will check out if the intial voters of no lynch yesterday were mafia or townies (If Toshi is mafia, more likely mafia started the No lynch vote. If he isn't, it's more likely the mafia bandwagoned on the votes (or started one).
BUT! This doesn't mean I don't think there's people who aren't currently suspicous
Right now, I'm finding undead_moose and xXArrowXx both pretty suspicous
xXArrowXx has avoided trying to vote for Toshi and encouraged not lynching known mafia on this page alone. undead_moose reacted strongly when both himself and xXArrowXx were brought into suspicion, resorting to sarcasm to blow off the suspicion. They also both tried to get people to list their suspicions, so while it might be seen as an attempt to just collect info for town, it'll also collect info for the mafia. IMO it's better to just point out certain situations that you find suspicious and try and minimise what you say on the matter (like Luke does) as it doesn't give the mafia AS EASY a time of seeing who thinks they're mafia and who thinks people are town.
So yeah,The lynch at Toshi is an attempt to draw reactions(or lack of) of other certain individuals (won't list them it'll wreck it) so I see it as achieving several things at once.

i dont think toshi is a good choice at this stage. would change my vote but i think people would think thats sus, i know not changing my vote people think its sus but atleast we aren't working off no information.

i always thought that it was the town that expressed the no lynch vote so early.

i am even inclined to voted luke. last time he was mafia he did the same thing. let people fight amongst eachother.

vote one of them, and if it not decided, people can change to the majority if they agree to the risk.

All he does is make random accusations and run around defending other random accusations.

No reasoning other than the secrets he hides are the reasons for these accusations.

He's corrupting our thought processes, and I feel that he is doing this so we can't get an accurate read on the mafia who we are looking for, which may include himself.

Hey man, I don't know if Toshi is townie or not, as I stated, I'm using it to narrow down possibilities. Has nobody read what I typed? I have clearly explained why I believe voting Toshi will do just that. If you can't see how I'm gathering information from it from either result, what on earth are you seeing?
@Toshi: It's exactly as you say, Undead moose is protecting you. People can draw their own conclusions from this. (PROTIP: the people who are protecting are likely town if you are lynched and seen as town.)Also, you aren't exactly contributing, afaik all of your posts have been asking why you were voted. I would be much less inclined to vote you if you didn't.
@Undead_Moose: But the lynch (at least my vote) does have reasoning behind it. Can you explain why the reasoning isn't valid enough to warrant a vote?
@Vlade: What could I say other than "I learn x and y from this vote, I also found it less likey that a and b are mafia" if Toshi is townie?

Another thing to consider about keeping known mafia around. They still get to use abilities if they have them.

1) He's telling the truth. Lynching Toshi is indeed a bad idea.
2) He's mafia trying to protect Toshi.

The situation here gets very confusing because anyone can really claim to be anything. =S
So really nothing can be proved tonight unless we choose an important lynch. I would like to hear more feedback from everyone else before i start choosing my vote because I feel that others are needed at this point to contribute into the disscussion, insted of lurking away and vote hoping at whoevers getting the most votes, thus avoiding discussion. Thats just my opinion for now.

if you vote for toshi it will give us um how do i say this, it will like give us more information because of all the people voting for him and the people going for no lynch and **** on the first day

summoner voted lynch first day (mafia prefered option)
then voted for toshi and then took away his vote on the 2nd day (mafia covering strat)
luke random voted and then lurked (very mafia)

I voted random to get the game started, then someone died and I pointed out all the sus things that were said up to that point, and sat back to watch how it all panned out, sure, but I'm not so much lurking but rather not running my mouth off at every little thing everybody says.

I was inclined to go with summoner's take on things, but now moose has shaken things up abit, you are right though, from my experiance the mafia usually all lurk except for 1 or 2 members that do all the talking.

I think Moose is suggesting that one or both him and Toshi are governors or something along those lines hence 'you will be unable to lynch us'

I want to hear Moose's thoughts on who we should lynch, according to him he has a pretty powerful role which clears Toshi, wonder if he has any other information that is yet to be revealed
