He either happens or he doesn't. He's on Pac-Man's taunt, but I honestly doubt that means anything. He used to be a Mii Costume, but it's also currently AOL and didn't return with fighting game character Terry - I think it's honestly unlikely that we get another fighter before him, and the only Bandai Namco character he could come with is Lloyd. His VA passed away, but as has been stated Heihachi already made his return through reused voice clips. Sakurai stated he had difficulty making a moveset for Heihachi - honestly that's staggeringly shocking considering how easy one is to make, and it's something that should have been worked out by now.
Yeah, anyway, Heihachi Mishima is one of the most iconic fighting game characters and villains, a rare example of a series' mascot and protagonist being the bad guy, and a legend. Tekken used to be the best selling fighting game franchise until Smash beat it, and it's definitely the kind of Japanese success story that Sakurai loves to represent. I've always said it, and despite some momentary shared insanity, now people are coming back around to it: as far as Bandai Namco characters go, it's Heihachi or Lloyd.
