Smash Ace
Friday January 7th around 8:00 Mark Dunstan left this world in a horrible car accident in Mountain View, Missouri.
His funeral is this Wednesday, the 12th in Eldon, Mo.
Mark was a member of BROKEN Crew, founded by KingSiegfried (Brandon Hurst). He played a very tricky, and sometimes flustering pink Luigi. Our crew has permanently retired the pink Luigi, of course we can't ask that everyone do the same, but I figure we can ask that if you do use the pink Luigi stand upon the nearest chair (or table) you see and announce-"In honor of Marky-Mark!" Then proceed with your match. He would have liked that, I'm sure.
The first time I met Marky-Mark was in the 4north dorm floor of Jefferson Tower in Rolla, MO. he had his shirt off and was blaring Lady Gaga from his monstrous computer, all the while running his hand across his PERFECT hair. It was truly a beautiful sight. Brandon introduced us and immediately I felt a warm silliness about him that was quite comforting. We proceeded to play smash soon after. His Luigi gave me a run for my money. I've never seen someone get so many random, lucky, and deadly, misfires. It seemed like 2 stocks a match I lost to dadgum misfires. I don't even...
Mark was loved by all that knew him. He made a positive impact where ever he went.
I miss you Marky-Mark. I wish I had gotten to know you better. Love you man.
I would like you all to post stories about Mark if you have them (shoutouts to Rolla) and if you don't have them just wish him and his family the best. I will send this page in a link to his parents.
Also a memorial tournament will be held soon in Missouri, all proceeds besides the venue fee will go to Mark's family.
The smash community has shined during tragedies like these before. Let's see it shine for one heck of a Luigi player.
Thank you all.
