If only I knew a thing or two about networking and IP mechanics...

Ah well. But seriously, it's not just the opinions. You both share similar syntax and grammar, something that is naturally noticed through reading several posts. And ICHIGO tends to have impeccable timing and you usually disappear when he comes in to post...

I know it doesn't matter much.

I guess it's just coincidences. I've been on GFaqs too much where the trolling is pretty blatant and people like to do the "create another user to agree with me" ordeal.

Yeah, it's... the trolling effort there is bad. I blame that the users there are too easily trolled and therefore trolls don't have to try.

And I've come to realize that you indeed don't troll. You're just very... helpful lmao.

Yeah, it's funny because the guys actually playing PM say AGT is awesome while the people commenting think it looks silly.

Talking about MK

Will you buff his dimensional cape attack? Always wanted to use that but it doesn't kill anyone unless they are pretty high near the ceiling boundary.

It should be one of those "high risk high reward" moves

A move with significantly long fullbody invincibility will not be high risk high reward no matter what you do to it.

I know I haven't posted in a while **** work / college + WoW = all free time. But in regards to the stage topic a couple pages back. I was noticing that CP stage was Castle Siege and Frigate Orpheon and the Temple.

For temple I don't see why you couldn't get the creators permission to remove the big green towering giant. I mean if you can remove parts of a stage to make it more balanced terrain why not. by this I mean look at Temple+ and NewPorkCity+.

For Castle Seige I dunno about you guys But I currently like the current B+ Version with the fixed ledges in the beginning. The only thing I don't like is the reduced stage boundary crap. Also I have seen some stage fixes for this stage such as the 3rd part separate aka with the lava. I believe the person also had it fixed to where it can rotate or not. I personally wouldn't mind just having the both of them as seperate stages. Keep the CastleSiege+ beginning frozen. And make the Volcanic area its own stage.

Now I know for Frigate Orpheon. People usually complain about the stage. espically due to the one sided ledge before the stage flips. I personally think I would be cool if you could just mirrior image both parts and keep the stage the same. However I don't know if it would be possible. I have however made my own version of Frigate Orpheon to where in the beginning both sides of the ledge can be grabed however it requires the stage to be frozen which I'm sure generally most people wouldn't want but I can let the testers like shanus or JC if they want to test it out.

I'm thinking of applying for the opening you guys have posted on the smashmods site. While I have some know how of BBOX and a little of PSA. Just again College + work + WoW = alot of my time I really don't even have enough time to even play wow I just play it whenever I have free time lol.

Anywho Keep up the great work guys.

One question on Falcon though I was watching the vids on JC's channel. what happend to his freaking rocketship epic Knee?

so what if AGT was just air dodge distance and item throw?
why AGT when you can just regularly glide toss. It's a good technique that will keep brawlers happy and it looks infinitely better than sliding around with triangle jump throws

Where are these invisible videos? I haven't seen a post by falco400 for like 10 pages at least
There only those who love the taste desert can see them.

I have to ask...What's up with Mario's upB? Do you guys just hate mario or something lol. Mario's UpB is like...bottom tier. I think yoshi's gets more height.

really? i thought this was a new thing. I know you can glide toss in melee though
I'm (pretty sure) you can cancel airdodges with item throws so you can just airdodge in whatever direction you want and throw.

I've only done it with peach but I'm assuming all characters can do it.

I'll test it out tomorrow and come back to edit this post.

Note to the new guys.
If you are gonna complain about something in the alpha, do it in the character threads or in IRC on smashmods.
Complaining about Mario's up+B, which likely got ***** by gravity changes, isnt gonna really matter in here.

Ideas for Charizard

Okay, so, here are my suggestions for Charizard:
• Speed up Jab
• Make Ftilt sweet-spot when hitting with the tip of the tail (possibly with fire effect)
• Slightly increase Usmash range.
• Reduce ending lag on nair.
• Slightly increase fair range.
• Make Neutral B cancellable.

Hasn't FTilt always had fire effect? o_o

I wasn't around and tried to record the entire stream, but Camstudio failed miserably. -.-

Anything dramatically different I missed for Lizardon?

The last one has already technically been done, it's called flame canceling. The second to last one about Fair has already been done because we started off from a B+.pac. Nair has a fixed animation so the range fits it better and makes the flame part of his tail easier to hit with. I'm not going to comment on the other ones because nothing else has really been done to Zard outside of WIP things.

Just know that your suggestions were taken into consideration.

After having played PM at sny, i would like to give my thoughts on the game so far.

Generally, its awesome! feels alot more like melee and is great fun.

however i feel that until landing detection is completed, it is lacking the melee feel. Jumps, wavedashing, wavelanding etc are all different timing and seem to be delayed, which i found fustrating.

A friend of mine tried fox and felt that he was alot slower than his melee counterpart. Any ideas why this is?

Oh and marths sideB still isnt as useful for recovering ala melee, however i did appreciate the slow down of his sideB combo (that must have been a ***** to program...)

But overall, great work guys and im looking forward to playing it again next year :)

we haven't done anything to marth's forward b. he'll have his melee recovery boost forward b eventually. just haven't gotten around to it.
