I love the GB player. Man, that thing is bad ***! I love all the old music. Man when I want to hear some music, I'd just go to New Bark Town, Ice Cave, and Pallet Town just to hear the **** music :D

Oh nostalgia never fails me

Hey guys is the Battle Frontier just as hard on HGSS as it is on platinum? I know D/P are significantly easier, and I never beat platinum's because of SS, but if SS is easier then god...

I read it was the same difficulty as platinum but I did pretty well with a random team of charizard/gyara/Tyranitar with all choice items (just messing around)

Anyways, going to get Latios soon! I'm wondering if I save right before I talk to Stevie if his stats keep being different so I can SR without having to do the elite 4 crap. (Don't know if this will work), but I wants to try Latios/Scizor/Tyranitar for Battle Frontier Climb <3

Voltorb flip looks...not very fun. It originally looked fun...until I realized it was not so much a game of strategy but a game of luck. Plus, there isn't any "Electrode Bonus" as in DPPt.

I always liked using Espeon or Umbreon <.<. I love the cute dark kitty more, but Espeon always had better damaging moves. (I don't know how they stand now, all I know is Jolteon/Vaporeon are cool XD)

Training all my minions to Level 45 before challenging the Elite Four. Crap, I always use to buy like....20 Full Restores/Revives before challenging the E4, but I don't have the money to do so now.

Crapppp, it's hard to get moneyy.

how do you not have the money, mom should have stuff
your levels are fine, only lance should give you trouble (he was the only one that took more than one try and my highest level at the end of it was 44)

just buy a crap load of revives and hyper potions and you should be fine, i also had a lot of full heals but i only used 3 of them

I'm about to SR Latias after I show Erika my team's fury
(This is sad) All 57/Eved : Tyranitar, Charizard, Golem, Gyarados, and Kingdra.
When Seadra evolved it's stats almost doubled. </3 Seadra. Also, anyone know if I save before I run into Steevie if I turn off and back on if IVs are different? I'd rather not kill elite4 each time to reset iv/nature...meh. I may have asked this earlier, having bad memory <,<

*Reply to Teryjw on p134, because I thought that was the last page . . . . *

Have you tried beating a gym leader with it?

Whoever was the last pokemon to be out in the gym battles (that I won of course) was really really happy.

What's ironic is that I went through the trouble of breeding to put Extrasensory on Ninetales so I wouldn't have to wait until level 44 to evolve Vulpix, because that's around the time of the Elite Four...meanwhile, I didn't evolve Vulpix until after the 8th gym.

I got Faint Attack and Energy Ball at the same time, though (Energy Ball was purposeful, Faint Attack was an accident that worked out well, although I just realized I should probably replace it with Dark Pulse due to Ninetales's superior Special Attack), so it all worked out.

I would LOVE to get a shiny Ninetales, though. It's one of the better-looking shiny Pokémon.

I think you'll be fine. As long as you can handle lance (Feraligator and Nidoking kind of cut it close), you shouldn't run into problems.

ampharos and togekiss quite possibly make the most broken in game combo ever

get togekiss and have it learn air slash, aura sphere, and t-wave, paraflinch ***** everything

it's so good, that i almost completely swept lt. surge with it

Since both Aipom and Ambipom have Pickup, if I have Run Away on Aipom does that mean I'll get Technician on Ambipom?

Here's hoping. My Aipom is level 30.

Clair's Dragonair with Fire Blast gave me more trouble than her Kingdra did.

Scarfcross killed 3 of her Pokemon while potion spamming. Thank god for Choice Scarf and Guts (Choice Scarf to get off a Brick Break before the Dragonair T-Waved, Guts for afterwards).

The Fire Blast Dragonair certainly surprised me at first. I put out Steelix as a wall while I revived my Pidgeot, and she used Fire Blast and hit on the first try, OHKOing it.

Kingdra was a pain in the butt, though. That may have been because I was using Twister against it, but it was still tough.

Progress so far today:

I finished training Umbreon to level 40, and I started getting Steelix up there. My plan is to get everyone to at least level 40, possibly a little higher if they learn a move I want shortly after 40 (like Iron Tail on Steelix and Signal Beam on Ampharos). Then I'm going to try taking on the E4 -- I probably won't win, but it's the most efficient way to train, rather than using Victory Road.

I never even got to see what her Dragonairs knew. I just threw out Jynx and lol'd at her feeble attempts to stop her with some pathetic Dragonairs.

And I believe I paralyzed the Kingdra, let it kill Dunsparce (paraflinch wasn't doing enough), and then Draco Meteor'd it to death with my own Dragonair.

Dugtrio learned Earthquake! :D I didn't replace Dig though....I like Dig. 2-Turn moves in-game are pretty good actually, because the opponent will do something dumb like Quick Attack on the turn you still under the ground. Ahaha.

Clair was dumb, she scared me. The only gym leaders that I had to "rebattle" were.....
....Morty, Jasmine, Chuck, and Clair >_>

Falkner-1HKO each of em

Bugsy-I has Quilava, Need I go On?

Whitney-Not as hard as people thought, maybe cause her miltank did nothing but stomp ;) no rebattles :p

Morty-He was hard as balls, Not only did I have to reface him, I had to do it 8 TIMES!:mad::mad:
Stupid shadow ball
but my lv6 sentret came through, not being hit by ghosts is fun :)
Shadow claw is too :)

Chuck- Even his poliwrath was mince meat for Typhlosions swift attack, No rebattles.

Jasmine-Eruption, Nuff said.

Pryce- Flamethrower, Nuff said

Clair- Used Ice fang Gyrados and Raikou
One rebattle

Overall it was easy, Except for MORTY

I think the only leader I had to rebattle was Jasmine.

Falkner: Mareep, 'nuff said
Bugsy: Pidgeotto, 'nuff said
Whitney: Female Steelix, 'nuff said
Morty: Croconaw's Bite and Eevee PP stalling Gengar
Chuck: Pidgeotto and Flaaffy
Jasmine: Tried using Steelix + Dig for Steelix. Bad idea. Then I used Dig for Magnemites and Surf for Steelix.
Pryce: Ampharos with Focus Blast, enough said.
Clair: Won in one try, but was the most long, drawn-out battle ever.

I'd rather have a close match over grinding, so it evens out. Close battles are also pretty fun and zetta epic.

I never lost to a gym leader during this run of the game.

Could someone PLEASE who has some knowledge of competitive play tell me the average stats of a RestTalker Snorlax?

I calculated it's endgame stats and they would be

Careful
244 HP / 28 DEF/ 236 SPD
HP:496
ATK:248
DEF:143
SPA:139
SPD:328
SPE:93

Now I know that a RestTalker for the most part is a Special Tank but with those stats it seems just God awful.

Please someone help. I plan on using Dusknoir as my Tank, but I thought it would be cool to have a RestTalker.

Btw: This lax is the one I caught in Vermillion. The only reason I trained it is because I caught it in a premiere ball. Premiere balls are cool =D
