Bah...my stupid cousin erased all my Soul Silver data, and now I have to start all over. Been making some decent progress though, beating Whitney already.

Crobat 23 (Hurray for the Friend Ball and Daycare!)
Heracross 19 (Took me about 100 headbutts, I swear >_>).

Probably going to add Gyarados in. Maybe an Umbreon if I'm willing to waste hours babying my Eevee.

Man I'm really tempted to catch all the SS pokemon the hard way because this is so much fun. Love the Safari Zone. Anyways <.< Seadra is so crappy. Now that I have Kingdra I'm just like lulz, Seadra.
@lv55Tyranitar, Charizard, Kingdra, Gyarados, and Golem. All but Golem have near-perfect Ivs XD.

You know, when I posted earlier I remembered, we all got screwed out an AzureFlute Arceus. So lame...

Yeah you're right... I stopped watching it a while back just because the new seasons are crappy, and Sandy disapeared. Anyways, anyone know if pokelethon gets harder the more you win or no? Yeah...exactly one month before hgss came out I finished the pokedex on platinum so I wouldn't have to do it on SS for one soul reason. Battle Tower. <.< I have the worst luck, and a 100 wins never comes my way...so I when I found out hg/ss/plt have the same difficulty, I decided to get the ultimate card on this game. Right now I'm just messing around in BF to get outrage on kingdra (temp move) and I'm having so many horrific flashbacks...

It's the other way around, sadly. I prefer both Groudon AND Latios, which sucks for me.

I got through Victory Road. Time to do some grinding. First, though, I want to catch Raikou and Entei.

I'm slightly confused as to why people had problems beating the Elite Four.

I beat the entire Elite Four with only a level 41 Electivire and 46 Gyarados.

I beat Will, Koga, and Karen with Electivire and Bruno and Lance with Gyarados.

Ice Punch and Ice Fang are the best moves ever.

Edit: This was all first try, no fainting. Just hyper potions.

The Legendary dogs officially have broken capture rates.

I spent quite some time getting a False Swiper and whittling Raikou and Entei both down to 1 HP. Raikou is frozen (Entei will be asleep next time I encounter it.) I'm alternating between Dusk and Quick Balls, which have a 4x rate in the correct conditions, the second best rate you can have (the best being 8x, only possible with Love Balls -- impossible -- and Level Balls, but according to Serebii they only work when you're HIGHER, not lower, making that one impossible to get an 8x rate on too).

I cannot catch either of them. At all. I'm about ready to kill someone.

Lies. They will never surpass the brilliance that was band geeks. Especially when the best the creators can think of is spongebob and Patrick taking on a wind up toy robot (dressing up in the woman's room, might I add), then I am rightfully concerned. The episode shown in the animation sucks as well (though the slow mo to classical music part was at least interesting).

@Firus: Catching roaming legends takes forever. I can't think of any advice besides don't stop believing. That or import a level 100 and catch em all...

Since Entei and Raikou's natures can only be changed by killing them, beating the Elite 4 (half an hour wasted), and then running into them again, it makes catching Pokemon so much harder than it needs to be. :O

Anyone play the Voltorb flip at the game corner? I've been addicted because it's such an awesome mental game. My highest level reached, so far, has been level 8.

It's sad catching those roaming pokes. I seriously SR for a good natured Cresselia in platinum at least 20-30 times, catching it (oh yes) the hard way; mean look hypnosis gengar and Cresselia only, no master balls, Jubilife City routes. Course by the end I got it down to a science, but it is still a pain in the neck. But, then again, Raioku and Entei both have roar and that must be fun to attempt to trap them. I know that happened with finding a wild shiny staravia once and I was NOT HAPPY

All I can say is..

Get Lucky.

And use a quick sleeper, perhaps with wide/zoom lens if you get some, whichever it was. Quick claw helps on occasion, but you prolly need to weaken the dogs first, then try and search again when they're red. It's a pain, but try to predict their routes. I personally prefer ecruteak city.
