Pokemon Battle! Which Pokemon deserves a Brawl spot the most?

Now that they are doing more characters.

I think the only way Meowth could be in is if they replaced him with jiggs. The first gen comedy pkmn spot is filled.

Yes but since it has been stated that anime and manga only characters will not have much prority,James and jesse and crew will have -chances
Yes i would love to see a "Team Rocket" character choice, this is something ive been saying since Melee was announced. I really like the idea of Jesse and James, but their anime backgrounds really really hurt any chance they may(but probably didnt) have.
On the other hand, Weezing and Arbok did a majority of Team Rocket's fighting back in the day. I say, put those two beside Meowth and see how that plays out. Weezings got the poison gas attack along with sludge bomb and the ability to float, which could be the Teams jump. Arbok could use the Wrap attack for grabs, or Meowth Could Simply latch onto the opposing character.
In my head I don't see another ice climber, but one individual character that moves as a whole. I suppose they could do it the way they did Ice Climbers, but those three just dont seem like they could really function without the other two.
I dunno. Just toy with the idea a little. It's not incredibly stupid, just really hard to think about how they would make a character like that?

Pichu really has no reason to be there.
Especially if my friend in Japan is right.
Gardevoir = Most Popular Pokemon in Japan period.
Axe the least popular for the most popular is most logical.

I don't think my friend in Japan would lie.
Lopunny is currently the most popular Diamond and Pearl Pokemon in Japan.
We don't need 2nd Generation Pokemon anymore.
We need 4th Generation.
And Gardevoir and Lopunny being the most popular they should be in Brawl.

I'm just sayin ... Lucario and Blaziken can be in Brawl. Sceptile should've been up there because all of them seem flexible enough to fight like a Super Smash Bros Character. The rest should all come out of pokeballs that are found.

Pikachu - Mascot. In by default.
Meowth - Rival of Pikachu. He does deserve this.
Mewtwo - THE Legendary Villian. In by default if you ask me.
Gardevoir - Based on what My friend told me. This Pokemon is the most popular in Japan.
Lopunny - My friend also told me that this Pokemon is the 2nd Most popular.

I really don't think they'll remove any of the first gen characters, they've all been pretty defined since the original super smash bros.
But as fas as newbies I'd like to see someone who isn't bipedal, I'm sure the programmers would be up to the challenge.
Beside that... lucario was in a movie

I agree with Neuroic Massage(?) about Lucario. He should get in for all those reasons. Though I doubt Raichu will be in, he's not nearly as popular as Pichu.
