Pokémon Black and White (WARNING: SPOILERS)

I've always gotten the Fire starter prior to 4th gen(always got me a Turtwig from then on). I think I'm going to continue on that this gen, as Smugleaf is my favorite so far(that and I'd like having the fire monkey over Pignition and insertwatertype/tentacruel/gyaradoshere over Wotter. Like both of their designs, at least, they're just no smug grass snake.

And I also think each Pokemon fits the people they go to(Wotter for Belle, to Cheren, and Smugleaf to yours(IMO, at least).

The Water/Fighting would seem a bit overpowered compared to the other starters if the Grass one was Grass/Steel.

That is #000 in the game's coding, the Pokedex is a visual organization, the actual numerical coding of Pokemon 000 is not the same as the Dex's. Pokemon 0 will continue to be a glitch.
