My intent in my first post was to bring to light what I saw as a potential scum slip and a scummy reaction to Ronike's initial callout. I sought to re-create the chain of posts leading up to the scummy interaction I saw, express my opinion on it, and put pressure on via voting.@chibo
@frozenflame.
Look at your first post:

Simple question... Did your intention change when writing post 70? What was your intention when typing 52, and what was your intention while typing 70?
Fluff suggests that Trainers are actually competing with each other. Mewtwo is in no way related to the trainers. There was no catching pokemon N0. How is 'instagrouping' bad at this point? Or am I reading this wrong and are you saying that Swords is viewing me and Ryker as a group?Sword's buddying, instagrouping of Ryker and Xonar, and the contradiction between his claimed interpretations of the "slip" are all giving me red flags though. He deserves some scrutiny here.
Is that correct?"Sword's ... instagrouping of Xonar and Ryker"
Hardly. Trying to find out people's roles for no reason at all = role fishing.Chibo setting out a line for role fishing?
Reason doesn't matterHardly. Trying to find out people's roles for no reason at all = role fishing.
Go back and re-read from the start of the Xonar business. We've got multiple people thinking he slipped up and not acting particularly like a townie (wild pokemon). He got close to being lynched (which is typically when people claim or want to hear one) and rather than have people unvote him, we should find out if the slip was true or not and work on possible relationships from there, such as Ryker's buddying of him.
How are we supposed to even find Mewtwo first? Give me a reason why a trainer would act differently in this game than Mewtwo atm. The three of them are pretty much all independents against the wild pokemon.I suspect chibo, as he wants to get rid of mewtwo first, which would make it so that trainers can only be killed by pokemon a if pokemon a can kill.
Tell us how.
Tell us how.
Tell us how.
Comon Chibo, don't ignore me.Tell us how.
Scum/Scum? Why would you possibly think that and bring it up? I'm assuming from the obvious hints in the OP that Red and Green are in different factions and therefor do not know who each other are. Mewtwo would likely be an independent as well. No one has buddies to buddy with. If someone were a trainer, why would they buddy anyone? If they are by themselves it would be in their best interest to follow along with a potential lynch.People saying Xonar slipped are so lol-able.
Chibo, is Ryker's buddying of Xonar S/S, T/S, or T/T?
I'm still confused about all this confusion, can you please point out which post of mine you wanted explained better?Reason doesn't matter
Tell us how. My argument is mainly that I used the rolePM as a way to make it simpler for those without a power. The comment was based on that post of you that I still dont understand. Elaboration on that post is still welcome.
Does this conjecture even matter atm? There are more important things at hand.lulz, I like how Chibo dodged my question. Ok, so you've ruled out S/S buddying, but do you think it's a wild buddying a wild, or scum buddying someone he thinks is wild?
that part. The post on which I replied with my 'slip' to begin with. Especially the bolded is what I replied too. Does realising this change your view on the slip? I read that as "We're not dealing with town PR's", to which I replied that I'm pretty sure that pokemon have PR's. I didn't say "Pokemon have PR's", because, hypothetically, if somebody had no PR and I would have one, I would be 'caught'. And I wouldn't want scum to interpeted it like that (that being the fact that I have a PR and the other person doesn't) and kill me.In a game so out of left field like this, how do you expect us to play it effectively with every single role out there being originally created essentially? It's like taking shots in the dark. Rolefishing is bad, but understanding the basic mechanics and a outline of the setup is fairly important.
FoS: McFox - Seems like your trying to keep us off the idea of looking for Mewtwo when I find it to be a bigger threat.
FoS: Swords - For trying to keep the more powerful roles a complete secret. Unless there are other wild pokemon out there that are considerably more powerful (which idk if that would work since then that would/could make the trainer that owns them (if recruited) OP'd). Pretty much, we're not dealing with Town PR's like in most mafia games, and we don't have to worry about exposing them. The only time you should be worried about the "PRs" in this game (meaning Red Green and Mewtwo) being exposed is when you are aligned under one of them, and atm, no one is recruited yet (since you cant recruit on night 0), then no wild pokemon should be worried about PRs being exposed or not.
That statement is bogus. I am proof to the contrary. Stop making assumptions.Y'all seem to be forgetting that I like Xonar as a lynch not only because of his slip, but because he didn't realize that all pokes have PRs anyways. Sure, he can pretend this was to protect himself for outing himself as a PR, but thats still bogus since EVERYONE HAS A PR. Easily noted both by the theme, mod, and comparison with example PR.
Bull ****in ****. Even Magikarp has an ability and hence a PR. And this is an M3D game. Everyone's got a PR, even if it doesn't make sense for them to have one. It makes sense for everyone to have one here, ergo you have an ability. Stop being such terrible scum. That statement is bogus. I am proof to the contrary. Stop making assumptions.
I was in a masonry in one of M3D's games, but otherwise I had no special abilities.Swords said:Except for one thing. Has it ever been that one player has been a VT in one of M3D's games with everyone else having a power role?
Summoner, this is why you originally voted me. After reading everything since then (assuming that you HAVE read everything since then), you still find this scummy? Are you saying you want to be recruited? Please, explain why you want me lynched in more detail than "I'm still for it," when your original reason doesn't really hold any weight, considering that I was right, and wild Pokemon getting recruited would be bad for us. Like Ronike pointed out, not only do we LOSE one of us, but what we assume is an independent recruiting faction GAINS a number. That's doubly bad.McFox said:We obviously need to get rid of Red and Green before they start recruiting us.
I didn't dodge the question. At first I discredited SvS, but then I realized how that could work. My votes on Xonar and he's been talked to death so obviously I think he's S thus ruling out TvT. So thinking Xonar is town and the other is a possibility of S, or on the contrary, a possibility of T. I don't have an exact answer on that yet.lulz, I like how Chibo dodged my question. Ok, so you've ruled out S/S buddying, but do you think it's a wild buddying a wild, or scum buddying someone he thinks is wild?
By not dealing with normal town PRs like in normal games, I mean the difference in that:that part. And I wouldn't want scum to interpeted it like that (that being the fact that I have a PR and the other person doesn't) and kill me.
Looking back at it, it was stupid though. There's a power AND attribute tab and even a power on the sample PM (which I even referenced ). So yeah, I don't blame anyone voting me.
This is a good point, I didn't really think about it like that. I was more thinking about it originally on the basis of a player with being killed vs not being killed, but being recruited is sort of like a double whammy.Chibo, Mewtwo is not the greater threat to town (assuming he kills, trainers recruit). A kill gets town a net loss of 1 person, while a recruit not only takes one number away from town, but also adds one number to an opposing faction, thus earning a net loss of 2 for the town. Mewtwo is the greater threat to the fun of a player.
Yet another one Chibo. Still so certain that you want Xonar to claim?Don't think what people are saying about Xonar is legit.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't sample PM's always Vanilla examples? If there isn't vanilla townies in the game, I would expect the example PM to show not a vanilla.
I read of all page 1 and then posted, because I thought that was it, and no, I wasn't. ****, sorry about that.Is that L-1 or L-2? I think it's L-1. Are you paying attention Chaco?
