Yay my first one! One issue though. How'd you guys get transparency so you don't get the silly white box around your fusion? I just eyedropped the board colour...also..mine looks low qual in comparison..anything i am doin wrong?

Major Issues:

1) ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS save in "PNG" form. JPG distorts images HORRIBLY. ALWAYS save in PNG. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS!!!

Download Paint.Net and use the Magic Wand to highlight/remove the white from the image.

EDIT: America fails. Obama is a babbling ****ing idiot.

But I almost saw it comming. Between the Obama mania, the chants, and the slogans, it's near impossible to win. Though remember, McCain (and especially Palin) appeal to the midwest and central part of america. Though Obama only needs California and Florda to win, which are both in the bag for him.

EDIT: Amen, MK. Obama isn't going to do much rather then spread the wealth around, which is socialist and bad.

I'd pretty much say what MK said -- it's a great job for your first sprite. The quality loss is because you NEVER, EVER save as a JPEG. As one of those links says, "Do not save them in .jpg format. Even if somebody is holding a gun to your head." For transparency, either download Paint.net like MK said, or you can download the GIMP. Either way, you need a program to do it. You can use something free like one of those, or if you happen to have Photoshop of any version you can use that. In any case, that's how.

But the sprite looks very nice. It's a little hard to give more critique because it's harder to make out, but from what I see it looks great.

Yeah...I mean, it's even one thing if you just disagree, but there are too many misinformed morons that are voting for the man because he says he'll change the country. I know someone who voted for Hillary in the primaries because their sister was, and their sister was voting for her because she was a woman. It's times like that you wonder why there isn't a test to vote (probably because it's "racist" if we were to have one).

Obama scares me. Our family makes $250,000 a year, just enough to qualify to dish out the wealth for everyone else. I know we need to be helping out the poor, but if people like this idea of socialisim, capitalisim will die and we will get more of this...

Seriously, I strongly disagree with people who voted for Obama, but there is no one that pisses me off more than the idiots who didn't know what he stood for and either supported him as a fad or just because he claimed he'd change the country. I don't hate normal Obama supporters (especially since I know there are quite a few here), but I do hate the people blindly supporting him.

$250,000 won't be "just enough" for long. He's going to lower it. And that comic is hilarious.

It's fine, both of you. It's true that it's a rule but we've been pretty crazy altogether tonight, so it's really no big deal. I know how nice it is to get feedback on things when you're starting out, too.

And WOW. Venomander looked great before, but with the distortion gone it looks amazing, especially for your first sprite! The only thing I would point out is that the antennae look a little weird. The rest of it is awesome.
