Firstly what is sane? It's what the public thinks or mentally common. Take einstein they called him mad when he was just really really smart. If everyone thinks it's sane to do something it's sane. Also what is the common mind? People cheap, steal, lie, kill or worse. But if it's sane to do things agaist people around you please don't call me sane I can't even understand why I would need to harm anything any anyway even as simple as lieing without an amazing cause.

But if truth all evil causes good so there is more good in the world all you have to do is think about it take beating animals you increase the care of peeople and help create better laws.

The thing is, to an extent, insanity is subjective. The things that a Middle Eastern country would class as 'insane' is much different to what people in the developed world would call 'insane'. It's based on all sorts of things, such as religion, tradition, public opinion etc.

I'd say that insanity was where you're unable to think straight about anything in life, and these conflicts cause your behaviour to be considerably different to how it would otherwise be e.g. suicide attempts, being unpredictably volatile.

Although the dictionary states this, I would have to agree with others and say that insanity is based off of people's general opinion, usually branching from Religion, and all of those things two posts above said.

I could say (not that I actually believe this) that people who go into mosh-pits are insane, while others would say it looks like fun. This may not be such a good example, but it gives you the general idea.

Apologies if it offended you. I was only using that as an example. I could have just as easily said Africa or India... But some countries in the Middle East do have some laws which other countries would consider inhumane (e.g. cutting off the hands of a thief).

Everyone wants the opposite of what they have. They go out to build skyscrapers and end up dying before they're done, they make large houses and then go bankrupt, they hit their children then expect them to take care of them when they're old. The world never was sane to begin with.

really all I wanted for chirtmas was a new controller and to give everyone esle gifts so yeah I don't really want what I don't have.(I didn't get the new controller, but oh well) The common human mind is to want unneeded things to be mindlessly greedy you could argue that i'm greedy but if so do you want me to be the common form of greedy?

That's why I don't want to be called sane because of what people are the mind type I don't want to be mentally classifed like that. But yes I would think i'm insane I remember when I twised every detail of my life into pain even the good things became pain that drove me deeper into madness. I rememeber being locked into the H*** of my mind trying to not lose it I was like that for like 2 years everyday my mind(antime) twisted stuff after that craziness was gone I started having many mental break downs.

BUt I was all by myself for the WHOLE fight I didn't go to God(I believe) I didn't ask for help from anyone. I forced it all out and even on the worse days I smiled I asked deep questions and figured out lifes simple and amazing meaning and many things. I made me stonger mentally I no longer have to run away form my mind.

This sounds like philosophy to me. Philosophical thinking usually is my area of weakness but i'm gonna try to figure out what ur saying cuz Kirby approves of ur avatar <(^^)b.

Basically ur saying that sane is going with the crowd's current state of mind. And that InSaNe is standing above the crowd and it's mundane (whatever that means) ways. And when u were talking about how society likes to just sugarcoat violence, u were saying that sane is liking, to a certain extent, violence, and that being iNsAnE is not liking the excess of violence the public crave today.
