^ You don't have to use pawns. Like you can choose to solo the whole game.

But isn't the game designed to be stupidly hard without them? I'm not talking Dark Souls hard...more like forced on you to use Pawns hard?

Not really..like for the Hydra fight (the first 45 min of the game), you have to use pawns. Beyond that you could solo the whole game. Just make sure you're a Mage Build or an Assassin/Ranger/Mystic Knight build.

You will hit a few rough patches with bandits, but if you carry 70 potent greenwashes, I can't see you loosing.

Put it this way, i'm still stuck @ The Mirroed Atrimis or w/e on Dark Souls, yet I'm ~4hrs from platinum this. And I used no pawns quite a bit to test that out XD.

I actually plan on going back to Dark Souls after this, but I just seem to die to stupid stuff like falling off a ledge. I also needed to turn up the brightness. And while we're at it, the game could've used a map >.>

Sounds interesting and plausible. Though carrying 70 of one item? That sounds a bit...lulzy lol.

Dark Souls doesn't need a map lol. It's all open world, but each area is its own sand box per say. Do you remember your soul level? I can help you out.

I'm really high soul level, i was lame and used the glitch. Thing is, my deaths never came from enemies before the soul lv. glitch or after; it's from falling. I thought maybe max hp would help with falls...it kinda did.

So many HD ports of old games with Achievements/Trophies attached to them. Honestly, I don't mind it. Not that I'd have a reason to not play the classics anymore, but attaching Achievements on them helps to motivate me to play them again that much sooner.

It's starting to irritate me. Simply slap "HD" on it, and resell it for 20+. Talk about making money without spending much on it. At least give us something lil extra.

Putting old games on things like PSN in never a bad thing imo. It's better than looking for it in Gamestops and allows it to become far more accessible to people that may have missed it.

I see no harm in this rerelease. Though apparently Japan will get a hard copy.

I played Okami on the Wii, and as much as I loved the game it is the closest I have gotten to understanding the motion control hate, something I'm usually very indifferent towards. Being able to play with the Dualshock controller sounds nice, though I doubt it will be enough for a day one buy. :/

I'm with Rutger, there's nothing wrong with re-releasing games. Especially if they may be difficult to find now, and I don't have to give Gamestop my money or going to the trouble of ordering it online and the vendor not coming through.

It's not even the HD that turns me on, just the fact that I'm able to enjoy games again that I like. :3

I really like this because I missed out on basically the entire PS2 collection, so these re-releases for 20 bucks or so with increased grahpics are like getting new games to me.

Conflicted. I want to play FFXIII-2 because I hear it's good, but in no way can I manage through FFXIII to make all of FFXIII-2 make sense.

I just don't understand why this FF series of all series deserves a trilogy. I'd rather go back and do something with the older FF's. How sweet would it be to make say, a FF8-2, and with the game, you get the original FF8?

Japan takes too long on development times, so it's not surprising to see another sequel for this gen's FF.
But yeah, a different FF would've been better (for me).

http://www.siliconera.com/2012/07/06/atlus-persona-4-arena-region-locking-not-a-slippery-slope/

I don't know how many of you know or care about the fact that the PS3 is going to get what is apparently its first Region Locked game with Persona 4 Arena.

I'm not a fan of region locking personally, however this is a game that has already been announced for release in all regions with Japan and NA about two weeks apart and EU still with an undetermined date in 2012. I am still very hyped for this game and Atlus continues to make some of my favorite games so I will be picking up P4A on day one regardless of this whole thing, but I'd be lying if I said that it wasn't sad to see this happen to what has been a region free system until now.

I don't know, felt like I should post this here. :/

Very slippery slope. I'm fine with region locking for marketing reasons, but assuming a game doesn't plan to come out in Europe or NA, then it should have no business being region locked.

I agree, even though you could argue FFVII was a trilogy of sorts with Crisis Core and Dirge, and they did TECHNICALLY make a sequel to FFIV. Plus well, we all know about FFX and FFX-2. But yes, I agree that an FFVIII-2 or a FFVI-2 would've been much more understandable.

Har har. Didn't actually watch the vid, but I saw what it was.

Straight-up, I don't like the way MK9 plays, and it's made by the same peeps. It's a neat idea, but I just don't like it, and am not hyped for it. So, I just can't be bothered to care about it. Plus, I have too many FGs to play as it is. :p

Will pass on this one.

I got Catherine. :3

The puzzles are pretty challenging, but I managed to get gold on stage 1-3(normal) at the bar.

This might be the first game I actually try to gain all the trophies on, unlocking more Shoji Meguro music to play in the jukebox in-game has to be the best damn incentive to acknowledge their existence that I have ever seen.

Coming to PS3, 360, and Wii U...

Obviously made by the same guys who made MK, the fighting style is rather similar. What do you guys think?
I really like DC, but MK has never really done anything for me. :/

The game looks gimmicky, but not bad. Very grey too.

I probably will not get it, even if playing any Flash in a fighting game would be awesome. Maybe if it turns out really good and after a price cut.
