Rumor broke out from Kotaku that Square Enix is planning to cancel FF13 Versus.

On a positive note, that means the team can start on KH3. On a sad note, I was really looking forward to this game.

Having not played any of the Kingdom Hearts games (aside from 10 minutes of 358/2 Days), I have to ask if you mean Square's butchered the KH games so the new ones aren't as good, or if it's just that there's been so many of them without a proper sequel?

BBS is considered a true game, given how much money and production they put into it.

Re-Coded, COM, 358 are definitely "side games" and they are certainly games you can pick apart and make fun of.

Don't know what 3D is all about, so I'll hold judgment on that.

Herp derp. I didn't realise it could run the discs too cause I put in Wild 9 just to see what would happen.

Now it seems really silly that PS3 can't read PS2 discs. I hope they fix this for the new slim model.

Only the older fat models that came out 06-07 iirc.

There are fat models that don't play PS2 games, so their size is irrelevant to what they can do.

Off of the top of my head, 20 and 60GB had hardware BC. 40 had none, and 80 had software BC for only some of them.

All right, thanks. I admit I've never once tried a PS2 game on my PS3 to see if it works. So...I may just do that later on.

Ok guys the strangest thing just happened...

I put Wild 9, a old PSX game, into my PS3, and it's being read as a game in the Game XMB and as a CD in the Music XMB. I had to agree to some sort of agreement but I'm playing the game's soundtrack as I'm typing this.

I wonder if this will work with my other PSX games.

Actually, I remember on the PS, you could put in a music disc and it would go to the music player. If you put in a PS1 game right after, it'd play the music.

Alternatively, some PS1 games played music in CD Players.
