Thanks to that trailer I really want to play. Makes me wish I could fast forward time. For PS home I ran across a lot of people pretending to be girls and try talking with males there and cause uproars.

Is it possible for a PS3's wireless network card to spontaneously die? I was able to connect to the internet just fine up until I shut off my PS3 around 1:30. Now, I can't even get past the connection test using the same settings.

I realised that Sony mentioned it would back up and running by May 31st... yet only parts of the region actually have access to it.

I for one am still get that lousy "currently under service maintetance" error message, I just hope Sony gets this resolved within the week(for Sony's sake) like it mentioned, otherwise alot of angry gamers will likely miss out on e3 through the PSN, of course I don't have to worry about that since I have SWF and you guys to rely on.

what!! Again?? this really didn't shock me as they stated in the Ps blog that the group "anonymous" would strike again. It's sad really, you would think that Sony would at least be in alert mode, and take more precautions, it's sad really of you ask me.

You would think these people would feel satisfied when they brought the network AND all Sony-owned MMOs down for weeks and made off with everyone's personal information, but this is just overkill.

Oh, and to confirm, my PlayStation 3's network card did in fact die spontaneously. I'm going to GameStop tomorrow to pick up a replacement, though it's a 60 GB launch model, so I'm not sure if they have any in stock. Keeping my fingers crossed.

This is why I hate hackers with a passion. I talked to my friends a lot about it through text chats and many are saying if PSN gets closed for nearly a month again they'll just migrate to 360 and some would give up on the PS3 entirely...hearing that from them felt dishearting.

Hmm.. Funny I just took my 80GB Backwards Compatible in and replaced the noisy fan with a sleek quieter one, I also installed a new GSU chip and cleaned our all the internal dust, it's tough maintaining a launch PS3 from getting the dreaded YLOD, but I guess it's worth it

I can't wait for Kojima's MGS collection in HD, it's hype.

But if you're asking who fixed it, I took it to my local repair shop, there's no way I was going to pay $150 through Sony and risk losing my data completly, not happening.

As for your network card problem well... I hope you'll be able to find one at a gamestop, but it's kind of unlikely, you could also try to track down your local video game repair shop.

Alright guys I need some tips. I got LBP as my first game, but what should be the second?

-Wipeout HD

I got infamous, so yeah...


I want a game I can platinum, so keep that in mind when you tell me what to get.

My skill on platinuming is well, good to say the least. I couldn't 100% SSFIV/MvC3 though. I've got:

GoW1/2
FFXIII
DA:O
infamous
Moon Diver
Spiderman SD

So yeah.

infamous was easy to platinum to be honest. Dragon Age Origins is annoying, though. I'm working on Mortal Kombat, that also is annoying.

I'll platinum it unless it takes skill beyond my level. I couldn't manage SSFIV/MvC3. I also need to do a speed run of Sonic the Hedeghog, but yeah.


So yeah, suggestions? :3 I typically get bored of racing games outside of Mario Kart, but this one looks like F-Zero, which could be cool. The Zombie game looks okay too, I really want one of these because they both have platinum trophies.

I'm currently lv8/92% on psn, and when GoW3+inFamous2+LBP get platinums, I think that'll make me lv10+ xD.

inFamous has been downloading for 5.5 hours now. It's 7GB. I have slow internet though.

I hear wipeout is very challenging. If you want platinum you may want to steer clear (although it does look fun to me.)

Anyways, WipeoutHD looks kinda hard to platinum. Hmmm...

I could probably platinum Wipeout, but it'd take serious time.

Edit2: To be quite honest, I think I'm going with Dead Nation. It looks like a fun Zombie killing game I can play with my buddy irl, and Wipeout....eh idk. It looks fun, but it also looks like it'll get boring pretty fast. I feel that way about most racing games, though. Mario Kart is the only exception.

I'm guessing the slim is quieter right? I am starting go fear the YLOD due to it's age, Aside from that I guess it's worth getting.
