Depending on what card company you have, you may have some concern. I have an AMAZING experience with Chase where they call if anything is remotely out of the norm. There have yet to miss a charge, and I review my card before paying a thing. That said, I am canceling my card today to get a new one. This is more of a precaution.http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/04/26/update-on-playstation-network-and-qriocity/
Let's assume that I'm a PS3 owner who is completely out of the loop (let's not assume any further, I am). I understand what happened, how my security may have been compromised, and I should be slightly worried, correct? I did once put credit card information on my account, but the above article states that this kind of information wasn't obtained by the illegal source.
I bet you all those 360 fanboys thought the exact same thing this guy is thinking when Xbox got downed for like 2 weeks back in 07This is why i like 360 more... I think the only thing I am going to keep my PS3 hooked up for is some of the old school PSN Final fantasy games.
Oh please. XBox Live is just as susceptible to incidents such as this, is that not inherently clear to everyone? Just because it happened to the PSN doesn't mean that it can't happen to any other large database of information, because it does happen, and IIRC, something happened to the Xbox Live system in 2007. (don't remember, wasn't it mentioned somewhere?)This is why i like 360 more... I think the only thing I am going to keep my PS3 hooked up for is some of the old school PSN Final fantasy games.
It went down for about 2 weeks because of the influx of new members singing up. But our personal information was safe. We got this crappy arcade (Undertow) game for compensation.Oh please. Writing that after the first sentence gave me the wrong idea lolshow that Sony isn't incompetent at everything. Namely, publishing good games.
The first Mass Effect is exclusive to the 360. Mass Effect 2 is multi-platform game.PS3 has some good games wtf are you talking about?
I hear games like Mass Effect (that's PS3 exclusive right?) and Uncharted are good off the top of my head
They're both multi-platform. The first game was on the PC as well. The first Mass Effect is exclusive to the 360. Mass Effect 2 is multi-platform game.
I meant console exclusive. They're both multi-platform. The first game was on the PC as well.
There we go, that's the game I mixed up Mass Effect withKillzone
God I really wish GoW on PS3 would happen. Both consoles have their games that other side wish they had. Thankfully, I'm not big on FPS or I would be wanting Gears of War, Halo...and other stuff.
Lol Serris. XDThis made my day.
I missed it. I think I feel asleep. Hmm but that's a good heads up.Did anyone watch that press conference? They basically said PSN will be up this week, we get a free piece of software (determined by region), and we get free PS Plus for a month. I wasn't even expecting compensation to be honest, I'm impressed Sony!
This is exactly what I'm getting with PS+ also.I hope it's not something I'll never use. Oh, well. I'm picking up a PSN card today too, so I'll be able to get that hugely discounted Marvel vs. Capcom 3 avatar bundle and the two DLC characters.
