Anyone bought the PSN Plus? I am loving it so far. Got Wipeout HD for free + Fat Princess Fat Roles for a dollar off + Age of Zombies (mini) for free.

Premium PSN service. Essentially, you $50 a year to get a free game a month (Wipeout HD this month), free mini/PS1 games each month, and free DLC. Also, they discount new DLC and offer avatars and themes.

In short, unless you spend a lot, it's not worth it, but you lose nothing in not getting it.

But once you stop paying for PSN+, those games will stop working.

Yeah, but really, there's nothing wrong with that.

First, I can name on one hand, out of all the games I've played, that I've played for longer than a year. Most cases, if I beat a game completely, I'm done. Secondly, for $50 a year, you can continue to keep the games you got for free (emphasis on free), and you get more. There's literally no incentive to stop once you start. WipeOutHD was $20 at debut. I'll pretend it's only $10, but I think it was more. That's $10 + $3 (Age of Zombies) + $5 (Rally Smash/PS1 game). That's $18 on my first month of PSN Plus for free. Add in the free DLC if you don't have it, and the discounted Fat Princess pack, and you have over $20 worth of free stuff the first month. For $50 a month, it breaks down to less than 5 dollars a month. So far, money WELL worth it.

Finally got back into Home. That thing is a money printing machine.

There is a new room added called The Midway (probably older than I'm used to). It has 10 Carnival mini-games (milk jug game, basketball, etc) that costs tickets to play. Winning each game nets you an item, and there are up to 10 items you can get. To play, you have to pay $1 for 50 plays. SMART move.

I love PS Plus! It's always a great surprise to find out what they are giving you each week. Like opening Christmas presents, even the avatars are nice surprises.

Sucks how they're offering limited time demos to PSN+ users. Like, the Kane and Lynch: Dog Days demo will be a timed exclusive to PSN+ users for a week, then regular PSN users can download it. Same thing like XBL Gold and Silver accounts.

Depends, do you have a ps3 already? How long have you had it? If you said yes to the first, mos defianately get one, the PS3's exclusives are simply orgasmic! If you have had one for some years now, get one to avoid the dreaded YLOD. Give me some info on your PS3 situation and I could advise you better.

The biggest thing the slim has against it is the lack of Backwards compatibility. The lack of USB ports seems to be a issue for some, but as Crimson King pointed out, you can buy a USB splitter to solve your problem.

There's no reason not to get a Slim unless you HAVE to have backwards compatibility.

YLOD is limited to the older models, so no BC but no YLODing.

I ordered move on Amazon with Eyepet. Eyepet came in yesterday, so we went buy a Move wand to play this weekend. The game is ADORABLE. My girlfriend has been playing for an hour, and she hasn't stopped smiling. The Move controller is like a more accurate Wiimote, basically. After about 5 minutes, whatever you move on the screen moves perfectly with the controller.

I also bought Sports Champions, so I'll give that a try.

It's neat because it's not required to use the system; as motion control should be.

Yeah, it's really fun. It feels a bit weird at first, but once you get the timing down, it feels great.

Does this PS3 play PS2 games?

Because my hdtv looks great when I play Melee (or any gcn) on my Wii. Mainly because I think it helps compress the screen ratio or something (idk) But anything on my ps2 looks meh on my hdtv. I'm pretty sure PS3 would make them look better, but I heard some PS3s don't play ps1/ps2.

Does this one? Idk what it is, it's the 240gb(I think) ps3 w/ move for 399
