...Is this the random conversation forum? If so, I think you're all discussing emulated games (maybe) - I bought SSB emulated on the Wii for $10 - definitely worth it.

I also tip generously, although it's usually because my dad gives me money for food on debate trips, he gives me more than enough, and I feel bad when my teammates tip like ****. But even when it's my own money I try to tip 15-20% (except once when 10 minutes was actually 50 minutes, they said they misspoke when I asked if they had a problem in the kitchen that caused the dealy, and they never checked back on us despite already having an appetizer and drinks. Get **** service, tip ****). So yeah...

Nintendo is just trying to nickel and dime their way into fixing the lack of profits after ****ing up their current (not even a real contender) gen console. Poor publicity, lack of software support from developers (old games don't count), and bad use of system storage to where customers can't even install a damn game (talking about the 8GB version). There's a bunch of other issues with the system that disgusts me.

@Scatz Hmm I thought nintendo fixed all the issues...which why I didn't buy a wii U last year around this same time....
O and about the storage I felt the same way about the other systems though. Either buy system with lots of storage or get other for apps and netflix. Xbox had the 4GB and 200-250 GB versions I think and PS3 also had a similar versions.

It's the social thread for the Pikas (and visiting friends), so yeah, it's basically the random conversation thread lol.

Also, that post-not-actually-posting-but-pretending-you-did thing happens to everyone. Sometimes you'll end up with multi-posts but most of the time it's just a harmless but annoying glitch.

First off: Red, sorry, I haven't added you yet. >< I will next time I play, I promise!

Reason for this: I was preoccupied with getting everyone to fulfill their Lifetime Wishes (mission accomplished!), and I wanted to redo the house to look better/accommodate an extra person once that was done.

In honor of everyone reaching their lifetime goals, Kanto Estate (that's its official name btw) has been redone.
Old house: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4
New house: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7

There were some bumps along the way, though.... in particular, we've had a few problems with fires. We even had two happen during one of ~auto's parties, but since he has the Legendary Host reward, the party was still considered epic.

Also, Karina finally showed up from her grave. I had Prime become her boyfriend in hopes that it'll speed up the process of getting the Oh My Ghost opportunity so we can bring her back to life, but no luck yet. Just a lot of sappy love ****. ;; Oh, and she likes to possess - things and nap in random places.

The hardest LTW to finish was ~auto's. I had to resort to having him sleep with 3/5 women who were already in relationships, which got him a reputation of being a Manipulator in town. =X I also learned that if you WooHoo off your home lot, you get a "Stride of Pride" moodlet, which makes you walk like a ****in' boss.

Random stuff:

- Anther talks to himself a lot, and never seems happy about it. o__o
- Being a celebrity is actually kind of annoying. People are more likely to stop you to try to socialize or take your picture. (Yes, it's always the cheesy peace sign pose, lol.)
- Speaking of celeb status, currently.... ~auto and Bobby are 4-star (Renowned VIP); me, Prime, and Thrz are 3-star (B-List Celeb); Danny and ghost Karina are 2-star (Notable Figure).
- ~auto became best friends with his car. Its name is Kitty Catcher (if you want a diff name, lemme know, but the p-word skeeves me out so I went with "Kitty" instead).
- Prime became good friends with fellow chef & werewolf Emma Hatch, and they practice fight a lot. So far, Prime hasn't lost. Also they howl together.
- Danny likes to go to the park and entertain random people a lot. One of his favorite actions is impersonating celebrities.
- Bobby's learning guitar, and him & ~auto jam together often now. Thinking about starting a house band -- need iano and bass players!
- Late night roasting marshmallows (well, steak in Prime's case)
- ~auto pranked with blue hair by Bobby
- ~auto puking after a particularly late night out
- Us enjoying our hot tub (esp Bobby......)

And that's it for now! I was gonna talk more about the skills and stuff we've mastered, but this is already long enough. Next time.... Red will be with us! (And hopefully Karina again too?)

EDIT: Random note: With story progression on, non-household Sims can change over time. Monika Morris, the girl ~auto's WooHoo'ing in those pictures (not the gif), clearly got fatter since she was in the party picture. Household-wise, Bobby's gotten buffer from working out all the time.

S3&K is probably the single greatest contributor to my current games habit and aspirations, and I do love it so. Shame ****'s been sliding downhill since.

Lemme assist you with all that negativity you got there.

I've learned one very important lesson from this last generation of consoles: Don't ***** about it until it's been on the market two years. That gives the developers enough time to learn their new toys effectively, and a few exclusives will pop up all around, and the tech direction and target audience will diverge slightly between each competitor. Then a solid argument can be formed about the console's place in a generation.

Nintendo in particular has had the bulk of its strength in first party titles - especially with the last few consoles. So far we've gotten a couple redesigns of last gen's Wii series, New Super Mario Wii, and an HD remake of Wind Waker. That ain't ****. But Nintendo has a habit dating back to the 64 era of ****ing around for a bit and then suddenly making money hand over fist when certain stuff drops.

You want a good litmus? Call me in Q4 2014. By that time we should have Super Mario 3D World, the new Wii Fit, Mario Kart 8, and Smash Bros Wii U - basically everything a Nintendo console needs to sell in terms of first-party support short of a new Zelda installment.

My Steam library, conversely, doesn't give a **** about these shiny new boxes.
