I mm'ed razer after that and took a game off him and they were much closer but they werent recorded. Any critique helps.

OMG SHLIKE NOOOO!!!!!!! if you would have slapped Dakpo on the tag instead of SHL I probably would have mistaken in for my matches vs razer at MLG. I did extensive research on the match up when i got home. I especially studied who i believe knows the match up the best out of all zss. (Dazwa)
Me and you are playing this match up all wrong,
First off, Never EVER EVER EVER use Neutral B. Its a waste of time and a fantastic way to lose ground against Razer's super agro snake.
Second, use side B way less. He knows how to shield just fine (and so do most snakes for that matter).
And last but not least, get in his grill!!! way more bair and uair. Pressuring snakes shield with bair makes it really hard for him to gain much ground and move as much is he does.
Uair, I realize, is hard to land but with enough pressure it will land and start the strings.
Make sure of course your spacing your bairs very well to avoid any up tilting. ( im pretty sure nades wont go off when you bair shield).

Don't grab unless you know you got it. He could have punished way harder than he did. Just be careful.
I was sad that you didnt punish some of those air dodges. That was something I really liked about your play style when I played you in Austin (because we both play very alike in that sense.)
So just keep those things in mind. Less Special moves, way way way more spacing with bair with some uair.
Of course this is not say you did nothing right. Great matches, and me and you will defeats razer one of these days. <3 shlike

Dude I am so bad at this matchup, but one thing that's easy for you to work on is knowing your punishes. if he ever ftilt 2 or jabs your shield it's a free grab/dtilt/DA. It's the same for utilt, I know you can atleast grab that **** though your timing better be good otherwise lol.

If he's the kind of snake who likes to pressure your shield with ftilt 1 and then waiting, I'm looking into the effectiveness of buffered uair for it. I think the minimum time he has between ftilt 1 and 2 is like 6 frames, and uair is frame 9, so if he waits he will get hit, and if he goes immediately to ftilt 2 he risks us holding shield and getting juggled anyways. So it theoretically becomes a 50-50 guessing/prediction game between us getting hit for the 11 damage or us starting a juggle on Snake. Which is the best we have.

I think this matchup comes down to what Snake is doing specifically because there are a couple ways he can play it. DAs are good at getting in on our shorthops, and it looked like he knew this because you got scraped with all those dash attacks and DACUSs. This is one of the biggest problems I have with the matchup too

(after watching the vid) ouch treeela (name search) just started toying with ya after a while
K first thing you have to realize is punishing someone's moves is one of the best ways to stop momentum. These vids are a classic example of what happens when a good player gets their momentum going and wrecks house. DONT PANIC and throw out moves and dodges. He is using 2008 tactics!!! when your getting comboed jump away. Do not air dodge into him. Also when lucario is above you and starts dancing on top of your shield, up air out of shield. That is a fantastic way to punish lucario above you.

First i noticed is that you roll at the wrong times like you take so much unnecessary damage from back rolling *which is an awful roll)
0:40 grab on to the ledge with up as soon as you get into range. If treeela did that better he easily could have killed you.

Squirtle is hard.

Camp for 2 minutes and then punish the bair wall. Also don't even try challenging Squirty on the ground.

When Squirtle is in the air, shield.
When Squirtle is on the ground, throw out a d-smash, an then mix-up what you do afterwards. When you get to 140%, when you're on the ground shield until he's in grab range, then mix-up getting away from the probable grab.

OH jeeze, Mu info uhh , I know dtilt is pretty good, it seems kinda easy to avoid the grab since his grab range is pretty tiny (so it looks like) , its mostly matching up fast moves (dont jab he can jab out of your jab) to keep him out of your face

There were one or two more matches with Ling as ZSS but Bizkit uploaded my snake instead for some reason. I did beat Ling's D3 in one of the three matches. But since ZSS is a secondary and doesn't get recorded ever I thought I'd take this chance to get some pointers.

Omg that dedede looks scary as ****kk, but your item game is very risky

Notes:
When dedede Jabs you can Down B out of it as a mix up if you can DI in time, I know the time between DDD jabs is as slow as falcos fsmash

also treat every wadle dee and doo as a gordo, and not stun em

Lingling shouldn't be spot dodging those dashes , some can easily sheild grab your dash

Maybe you should have IMed this to me, since I didn't really want these posted here. Whatever.

Anyway, I told you there was a ROB and a Kirby, but I THOUGHT there were two ROB matches.

Anyway, the Kirby matches were not serious and not indicative of my usual strategy in the Kirby match-up, not to john too much I guess. These were just friendly-friendlies. After the first stock in both matches I kind of just...

The second match is against a local ROB that is very good, but doesn't attend tournaments very often. This match-up frustrates me a lot because I have a problem where when I'm hit with "flubbed" attacks (such as ROB's weak fair box, and a dozen other attacks ROB has) I freak out a little and don't really know what to do and take a lot of unnecessary damage.

So yeah, watch them but I know I'm bad.
