FLUUD would be a good item not only can you spray people you can stay in the air longer with the hover nozzle, make a huge jump with the rocket nozzle, and go extremely fast with the turbo nozzle. Knowing of the Isle Delfino stage there is a VERY good chance of FLUUD being in Brawl

I don't know about Crystal, but Krystal used at the very end, when she used it to fire at the Krazoa God/Andross.

Regardless it's her staff, so it's not hard to imagine her using it in combat.

It was she who technically taught Fox how to use it in the first place. I can imagine Krystal being fast with long range... a nice, cheap, sexy fox.

Perhaps Nintendo will pull a Tenkaichi and give each character forms. A mario category consisting of multiple versions of mario (paper mario, doctor mario, etc.), or a link category too (young link, wolf link, etc.). Maybe on the character grid there will also be clear divisions among games, like all the fox characters will be outlined blue, all the mario characters outlined red, and all the link characters outlined green. Either way I don't care, but I must say I would prefer them to use hexagons instead of squares

That is so true, I've heard countless people say they wanted to be one character but when they tried another for fun the character worked MUCH better with their playing style. I really like to believe in this, even though my main is Fox right now.

I think so too, I hated the Ice Climbers but I had to play as them to unlock Game & Watch, but then they were the best and now their my main chareters.

same here. when everyone was like Fox is top tier use him. i tried and it just didnt suit me. Peach,Luigi, and Falco are my mains and they just so happen to be my favorites in other games too before i even played melee.

Um...I'm sorry but no. Nintendo is a business, yes, and they like characters that sell, BUT, SSB isn't a giant billboard for their games. It's mostly JUST game. I HIGHLY doubt "franchise importance" will matter in which characters stay and go.

This is like a lottery, some have more chances than others. I don't know what will happen to the retro-obscure characters, as well the clones, but I'm pretty sure that Pichu and Doc shouldn't stay.

As far as Clones go, most people feel Dr Mario is better than Mario, and Falco and Ganondorf aren't much worse than whom they are cloned from, and arguably Y link isn't that worse off. Roy on the other hand is seriously outclassed by Marth in almost every way, so I don't see how he's the 'only clone better than original' at all.

Regardless I put his chances above Pichu and Dr. Mario, and slightly higher than Y Link (barring any possibilities of WW replacement). Still, he's clearly in serious danger of being cut.

Actually, it was kinda. Sakurai initially wasn't going to keep Marth and Roy in the international version, so they weren't included to promote FE in the west at all.

That doesn't mean anything. Everyone is SURE DK's returning but we also have know evidence. Ice Climbers have as much as making it to Brawl as Zelda being the 13th character confirmed for Brawl... oh wait.

Not exactly. You can pick your *main*, but it's your *best* that chooses you. I choose to main Link, Ganondorf, and Samus even though I never sought out to be exceptionally good with them (even though I am now ). And for your best, I never planned on ripping my friends with Falco but it happened. I just seemed to stumble upon Falco after watching that True Life episode, thinking that's who the guy mained, when infact he mains Jigglypuff. Total accident that I came upon Falco, and now he's my best.

Actually, Roy was the promotion because his game was being released a bit later in the year. Marth was just the legit FE character. He was the first FE lord (FE1) and the first to make a second appearance (FE3). I think Roy will be gone because his game wasn't that popular and he isn't a popular Smash character, and I think Ike will take his place because he's a popular lord and his game did very well (FEoR) and spawned a sequel (FE:GoD).

Ness is not weak at all really he is one of my favs to play with just some time for me he just seems to be lef on my back burner after Zelda/Sheik Marth and Falco... and Ice Climbers lol then ness but i really like his fighting style just hate his recovery but i think he will be in SSBB... or not who really knows

Nah Ness... I like him even though he is crap. He was awesome in 64 and that is how he should be in Brawl. His jumped got nerfed in Melee and that Yo-Yo just plain out sucks.

Ness is my main/best in SSB64. I wish I could say the same for him in Melee, but I can't. Link's my main and Falco's my best. I keep trying to bring out the best in Ness, but I just can't seem to get the kid to work out for me. I hope they bring him back and buff him back to what he used to be. There was no need to make him suck that bad in Melee. And I hope they do the same for Kirby too, he was one of my best in SSB64 and one of my mains in Melee (even though he's just so terrible I rarely win with him).
