They would be p****d off! I would as well. Fox is not top tier for nothing. Plus, I use Fox from time to time so I say no!
PS: is buddy even that good?

U see the thing is, Fox is only so powerful BECAUSE of the shine, if U can use the shine perfectly, theres no need to practice the other moves cause u mastered it, u just SHINE SHINE SHINE SHINE-SPIKE 1 stock less for the oponent, whats the fun it that? Besides sakurai himself said hes gonna remake all the characters from zero, thus Im sure he knows about the shine and its overpowering abilities, and nerf it, give it uncancelable lag and the shine wont be useful...

I know there are people there that use fox professionally and dont use much of the shine, but more than half the fox players do, u just here the word "fox player" and u automatically think of the shine...

Its gonna happen even if fox players get pissed off...

i really hope sheik stays. she's one of my favorite characters to play as.

maybe sheik should be nerfed a bit, and zelda improved for the next game; then i'd finally have a reason to actually use zelda instead of sheik the whole time.

How is Marth better than Roy? Sure Marth's faster but Roy's stronger
Speed < Stronger
No Marth is actually stronger than Roy too. With a good placed Forward Smash, Marth kills things earlier than Roy. Also... Range and speed. And in the NTSC version weight too. Marth IS better than Roy, but that doesn't mean you should switch mains now...

She aitn staying, shes unimportant to the series as a whole, and since the characters are getting their recent looks, like Link with his TP design, zelda wil ltoo have the TP form, and TP zelda transforming into her alter ego from OoT is ********...

also ignore roy_owns he just makes stuff up as he goes along...

Link, a character from the same series as Zelda, does though. Chances are character designs will follow examples from their own franchise rather than others:p

But they could just have an "updated version of the old thing" like they did with Samus. If you take a quick glance at Samus you would think they used her Prime appearance, but if you study her long enough you see that it's the old one. They could do the same thing for Zelda. Use a better looking version of the OoT Zelda, one that looks like it could have been the one from TP (unless you're strongly familiar with the game, in which case you'll see a difference). On the other hand, they could update Shiek's appearance to make her look as if she was in TP. A long shot, but it's not a bad idea. Look what they did to the characters from FFVII:AC. They all had completely different looks but we still familiarized them as the original cast of FFVII. Red XIII is the best example. That's totally not how he looked in FFVII, but you still know it's him.

Ummmm... Samus doesn't have her new look. :p Neener!
... Congrats Dyce, u have pissed me off... jk :p
Ok ill quote myself from another post:

Ok time to pwn:

(Images in order in which the games where made)
Super metroid:

ending sprite

Metroid prime

Zero mission

Brawl

As u can c, in super metroid, samus didnt had light on her chest or shoulder pads, samus didnt have any of these lights til metrod prime, where u can c clearly she has them, then a few years later zero mission arrived, and it had the SAME light, so if anything zero missions desig is inspired by metroid prime, and the brawl design is too based on the MP one...

Why though? Why do for Zelda what they did for Samus, a character from a completely different franchise, when they could do what they did for Link, a character from the same franchise. It just seems silly to reuse OoT Zelda as opposed to use TP Zelda just because a character from another franchise did something similar, especially when her TP design is IMO the best design they have for Zelda. They'll follow Link's example when designing Zelda, that just is the logical sense. Not to mention that Samus is the same character throughout the Metroid series, so they can take liberties with her, but Link and Zelda are actually different characters in each game. Plus, it seems silly for one character to sport the look from the most recent game and another character, despite appearing in the same game, sporting a look from a game that's now pretty outdated in terms of looks.

Seriously, just update Sheik's design rather than keep Zelda back, don't make her suffer even more at the hands of her alter ego:urg:

Either way works for me, but I don't want Zelda to be stuck in her OoT when her TP design is much more beautiful. Either Sheik steps up to the grade or leaves, I won't have Sheik bring down Zelda even more.

Aiee! Not this discussion again!

I'm going to take the liberty of changing the subject: I really think the ICs should return. Not because they deserve it. Not because I mained them. Not even (really) because of their uniqueness.

But because...in dividing out characters into different franchises, I always included "classics" as it's own series, even though they were all from different franchises. But, I still grouped them together. I'd really like to see 4 or 5 of these classic characters running around in Brawl. We already have Pit and if we keep ICs, we can just add Balloon Fighter and Mach Rider and/or someone else (G&W, I suppose, if you really wanted). I just like the classics.

So, I think that the Ice Climbers should return.

think that luigi should return but they sould take out the green missle, and replace it with something from the classic games, like spin jump, cape, or maybe his vacuum from luigis mansion!

they could also allow luigi to wall jump like in new super mario bros or mayber, instead of green missile, let luigi shoot a blast from his thunder hand that he got in mario luigi superstar sega

You're joking right? Jigglypuff might be used more than the other Pokemon in SSBM since it's higher on the tier list than others. I actually don't know how popular it is, but at least it has a much better chance of returning than Pichu or Doctor Mario.

Its not practically impossible to beat event 51 without jigglipuff, i can't beat it with jigglyipuff. i Beat it with link and ganandorf, brothers beat it with ganandorf and fox. How did u beat it with jigglypuff? I find it that if u use your best character u can beat him, for me thats link.

Jigglipuff does have a higher chance than most characters and thats bc shes a classic character from the first game.

Even i hated ness in melee. lol, its because they watered him down too much. In the first game he was overpowered but when trying to make him equal to the other characters they made him way to weak. All classic characters have a better chance of staying in the next game.

I have beaten event 51 with every character in the game. My record time is 2:17 with Falco.
Ness was awesome and he needs to go back to that state.
How can you not beat event 51 with Jiggs?
