Im pretty sure shiek is a guy. On something, i cant remember what though, it says she uses magic and the triforce of wisdom to change into a guy, guys this is legend of zelda, a lot of things can happen with magic. I don't think she would have such a deep voice and a flat chest, lol, if she was a girl. She screams like a hich pitched girl when shes zelda, lol. Take this from a true legend of zelda fan whos owns all of the legend of zelda games, exept the ones on disks, beaten them all, exept the first game, and researches a lot about legend of zelda. Shiek is a guy.

As for the brawl characters, i would have to agree with mario ninja with pichu. They got to replace pichu. I don't think many of the clone characters will stay in brawl unless they change there attacks. I though Falco was kind of useless. I didn't see much change between the attacks of falco and fox. I prefferably like fox better. I would like all the characters to stay just for the larger varioty but i doubt they will keep all of them.

This is true. Most of the people I play with regularly don't really care too much about Sheik...or Fox...or Falco...or Peach. In fact, the general consensus is that all those characters suck.

also, if you're counting what smash bros melee does as canon (your voice acting claim), then you should read sheik's trophy, because it refers to her as a "her".

On the topic of voice acting, Sheik sounds very much like a girl regardless of her voice's deepness (especially when you send her off the top of the screen). In fact, Zelda and Sheik share the same voice actress (who is, in fact, a girl, though this fact is slightly moot in the world of voice acting)...which makes plenty of sense.

I didn't say i didn't care about zelda overall, just not a smash character. When i use her shes just not responsive and she feels slow. I also said im pretty sure, but, in OOT, princess ruto refeared to shiek as a guy and that was in the game not in another game. Ruto was one of the sages so she would know. U can nvr tell though. Maybe the makers of OOT left that open for us to figure out. This is not something to blow your head off about. Lol, sry about spelling sheik wrong. Im tryin to type fast and maken a lot of mistakes. Nvr did well in spelling lol.

im not blowing your head off, im just expressing my point of view. and you're right, princess ruto says, "if you see sheik, thank him for me." i personally think this holds little value as a claim to sheik's gender though, because the whole purpose of the disguise is to make sure ganondorf doesnt know where she is, so if she went around revealing her identity to everyone as soon as she met them....well, the disguise wouldnt last very long.

anyway, whatever, i guess its supposed to be ambiguous, so believe what you like.

Brawl site updated with Pikachu's Final Smash being Volt Tackle. That pretty much crushed all my hopes of Pichu ever returning. The attack itself didn't play out as I expected though. I was hoping Pikachu would do damage to himself once the attack ends.

They are both electrical, and they are both out of control. Difference is you can control Pikachu when he uses Volt Tackle, and Ness's up-b has different uses. They are different attacks, and Volt Tackle is actually a move in Pokemon just like how PK Thunder is a move in the Mother series.

g&w, pichu, doc, ice climbers are gone forever i hope. Mewtwo is probly gone too, really how many pokemon do we need. Young Link is gone since he's basically a link clone(plz correct me if im wrong). I would also really like to see Ness and Kirby gone but i dont think thats happenning.

I'm kind of worried about Falco, Ganondorf and Roy. They were good but I think nintendo is going to get rid of them to make room for their precious Wario, Pit, and Snake. Jiggy might get taken out too since, reguardless of Puff's awsomeness, is still kinda remotly similar to kirby

I'm pretty sure Marth is safe but... there is a small chance he could get replaced with some other Fire Emblem charactar (PLZ NOT IKE!! mebay Lyn she's hawt =p). Or my dearest marth could just get deleted altogther...poor Ken.

Shiek is a girl. Shiek is a girl dressed up to look like a guy. If a guy puts girls clothes on, he's still a guy; and if a girl puts guys clothes on, she's still a girl. It's called dressing in drag people. And if Ruto called Shiek a guy it only means one of two things: That either the Shiekah disguise was convincing enough to fool everyone (gj Zelda) or Princess Ruto was in on the secret the whole time and was playing along just to be safe (gj Ruto). Either way, Shiek is still a girl.

Personally, this one got me too excited to play as Pikachu. I thought the Mario Finale was a very dominant Final Smash, but looking at Pikachu's with the ability to control a death-ball of electricity... well there's probably not many more attacks that can top that! It doesn't even look like there's an opening for Pikachu to be attacked (the only thing I can think of is if Ness were to shoot a PKFire and Pikachu walks into the afterburn?). Well, anywho, I'm stoked to play this game even more now.

Pikachu's FS looks kind of the worst out of the 3 so far. Ya, its a huge electric ball that u can control, but if you're not careful u will kill yourself. But, if the ball does massive damage the itle be worth it. Thats just my opinion. As for the characters, as long as link stays im fine, lol, but i think roy will probably not be in brawl which kind of sucks and marth will have a better chance. For the person who said young link and link r about the same, ya pretty much. The only difference is that young link is faster but does less damage, he can wall jump, fire arrows, maybe some other things, but all these things r small

No, but I'm thinking once you grab the Smash Ball (still a dumb name), your character becomes firey for as long as they need, and then you hold some buttons (I'm thinking B, A, L, and R) and then you do your move.

I'd have to agree with being able to release whenever after getting the smash ball. I think u'll have to press "up-b" to use it though.

Jigglypuff is ok in melee. Lol, the best person i know of in my town uses jigglypuff just to say "ha u got beet by a balloon", lol. I almost beat him. We were both at one life but i died.

Yea, and besides that's the reset for GameBoy. It was just a guess. Since they can all be hit and that's not a combo I believe anyone would make during the game regularly. Well, any combo made will probably have the B button in there. Mark my words.

No I am sure of it that there will be more gone. Doc is gone. Falco may just be Luigified and Ganondorf totally revamped. Sakurai said he doesn't want 'clones' in the game. I also can name a select few of others who have slim to none of making it back.

LRAB would be very uncomfortable. A and Y would work better, but then you might jump when you didn't mean to. No, I think it'll be simpler, if you can, indeed, withhold the FS for a time (that hasn't been confirmed, has it?). Like, the A button, by itself. Think about it: that way, you can't activate it right in the middle of a combo; you'd just be able to position yourself better before using it. I also think there'll be a time limit once you pick up a Smash Ball, so that you couldn't just camp at an edge and wait for someone to go off before using Volt Tackle for an easy KO.

Sheik isn't a girl, she/he/it/potaot's a she/he/it/potato. Geez, Dyce.

I think Falco and Ganondorf will be the only two clones remaining and they will be Luigified. I don't think either of them will be revamped because even though Sakurai said "No clones" and you'd think those movesets are gone, we don't consider Luigi a Mario clone anymore right? So I think we'll be seeing two Luigifications.

Well, there are lots of gender-bending manga out there...it's something of a staple in Japanese comedy.

Ok, let's change the subject so Chief Mendez doesn't kill me! Any ideas on Pit, Meta Knight, or Fox's FSes? I really can't even think of any for Meta Knight, but I think Pit could gain the ability to fly freely through the sky and shoot his bow wildly and with immense power much like the last few levels of the game; this FS though, will have the danger of falling off a ledge like Pikachu's if you're not careful. Fox, I think, might call down fire support from the Starfox Team (whoever is on it now-a-days) and they'll shoot mercilessly at his opponents. Anyone else have any ideas?
