Just for the record, I really don't want WA + BC ' s relations to be about "whos turn it is to come down" as if one region "owes" the other region. If people wanna get better they should just go to a tourney whether or not it's in WA or BC.

I agree with you there. Although money and/or passports is an issue for some people.

That's how I feel, and I think it's how Otto feels too. It's not really about us pressuring BC to come down here out of selfish reasons; we just want to bridge the WA and BC communities and we're trying to get BC's best players to come down here because we want them to be motivated, too.

Edit: and mind you, if Sion doesn't have a passport or whatever then it's no big deal if he can't make it. It's just a shame that we could have such immense tournaments but people aren't motivated enough to travel.

Edit edit: Also we should HELLA have a bigass WA vs BC crew battle at some point omg omg omg

Sion could make serious bank off of placing 1st or 2nd in Washington. I don't think money should be a factor for that guy. Also a) everyone from Canada would get free housing and, if they wanted, I'd buy them food and b) gas isn't that bad for a 3 hour drive if a bunch of people carpool. Everyone paid $10 for gas on Saturday to go to Portland (an equivalent distance). I think most people can afford $10.

I don't think it's a matter of money, more so that nobody who's free/wants to go down to gc from b.c. is able or willing to drive so there's just no carpool. You can keep talking to him about it, idk. Hopefully he can come though.

im still going as long as charles drives, i just want some bc competition down here for once.

also, you coming to last gc def doesnt outweigh me going 3 bc tournaments in like the last year and beating your ***** without losing a set every time. I do really enjoy going up to bc, but another reason i do it is so that maybe your top players will come down here sometimes too. its not really the same deal as ammon not going either. im pretty sure ammon couldnt go oos for a long time, plus our best player has been going lol.

edit: no one at all is coming from bc? if thats sions only excuse someone make it happen. what up with eric? can he come?
