I don't see gluttony getting ***** by razer. He has proven he can beat ally's snake after all. Also what's your reasoning behind picking Leon instead of Mr. R?

Wolf mains ride this ***** to the ends of the earth LOOL
Don't associate Gheb with :wolf: mains...Gheb is his own person and thinks in an unbiased manner with heavy Japan influence.
lol Gluttony losing to me doesn't mean he is bad.

There is such a thing as character matchups in this game...and matchup experience
Matchup inexperience can go a long way.

While Wario poo's on Lucas, you do have to know the MU and play gay with grab release for it to be that way. I didn't see the match but I wouldn't be surprised since he doesn't have a reputation for non aggro lol.

The lucas vs wario matchup is the ultimate example of whoever gets the lead wins. Both characters have an extremely hard time approaching each other specifically.

It's simply a battle of the mind and who gets the lead match. Nothing more.

Wario doesn't poo on lucas. Grab release to fsmash hurts but isn't the ultimate game changer. Besides a lucas can use this to his advantage and stale the wario's Fsmash, which is one of the three best ways for killing a lucas with Wario. But let me not digress too far.

Actively attempting to stale an opponent's move on your face is almost never the optimal option.

The damage you get out of Fsmash is just too good. Turning every grab on Lucas into roughly 20%. Wario doesn't have a release grab CG or another really good option out of it besides Fsmash or Waft against a wall. Staling Fsmash is not a huge concern because pummeling helps alleviate that. Think about it: once Lucas gets to 60-70 % he can die to fart anyways. That's roughly 3-4 grab release Fsmashes with pummels thrown in. If you assume that's all he hits with no other attacks inbetween somehow, that's really not staling Fsmash too badly and not to the point that Wario struggles to have another kill option. Fsmash out of grab release is a great damage racking option and I'd take it nearly every time instead of trying to save it because that means basically Fthrow or Uthrowing Lucas for 13- %. MAYBE we can Dthrow to Dtilt for like 15% but that's much harder to do and Im not entirely sure it works on Lucas. Without pummels or with a tiny amount since otherwise Lucas can mash and get out before you toss him, which means even less damage and staling reduction from pummels. Basically, the kill power issue is not a huge deal compared to a noticeable damage boost and staling reduction with pummels. The only time it becomes wise to start throwing is if the Lucas is getting out in the air.

Wario doesn't "poo" on him as in 7:3 can't win the MU, but it's a solid edge

lol 7:3

Lucas is a character with too many mixups, if someone doesn't know the Lucas matchup and suddently faces Mekos, who WILL mix it up in insane ways and somehow make them work, chances for them to win are pretty low.

That seems to Jiggs' problem all the time though. It looks pretty even until you realize Jiggs can die at 80 or 90% and all 5 of her usable moves are stale.

Stale move negation in Brawl (KB is reduced in addition to damage) hurts Jiggs more than almost anything else.

IMO, stale move negation is overrated as a problem for Jigglypuff.

The real reason she can't KO is that sweet-spot fair isn't a move you can just throw out. It is rarely safe on whiff or block, can't really be mixed up with anything and isn't very fast at all. Puff should be spacing with bair, not fair, so I don't even see how it is going to stale unless you go for a KO setup (fair > edge-guard or something) and it doesn't work out.

Puff mains just need to get better at landing Rest.

I realize that it's something that is easier said than done, but if you can do it you kill sooooooo much earlier.

BlackGold is correct. It's the main thing I'm working on at the moment.

Though it is only applicable in some match-ups. A good Snake will not be hit by Rest (excluding dair > rest), for example, the dynamics of the match-up just don't allow it.

I'm not here to debate. I was just adding my two cents on how I feel about the matchup.

I think you should face me before you make your assumptions about lucas btw...I'll show u the Will of Fire

But D-Air, F-Tilt, D-Smash, and U-Smash are Electric, and F-Smash is Grass...

Squirtle still does well, however.

No, Charizard is the next Avatar. He started with Earth (which is why Rock Smash is so fantastic), caught on to Fire quickly, and clearly has a decent handle on Air. He's still getting used to Water, though.

Lucas is a faker, which is why Charizard has grab-release shenanigans on him.

ugh this guy is proving my point...Lucas vs lucario is one of his worst matchups. Lucario is the perfect counter to lucas. Also, I had know clue of many of the tools in Lucario, specifically Trella's arsenal. For example, I had no clue I could be chain grabbed across the stage by lucario -___-.

So to break it down for you. Lucario vs lucas is like -3 while Wario vs Lucas is like -1 or 0 for him.
(different matchup). My jab doesn't even work on lucario lolol.

Gluttony was aware of the GR to fmash but was definitely not aware of my playstyle.
(experience)

You showing that video is also proving my point. You can see the Will of Fire in progress. I'm getting stronger throughout the set with the experience. A loss in battle does not mean the war is over. Learn from your losses.

@Reflex - lolol I guess ;)

meanwhile agreeing with dmg that wario is -2 or 60/40 but a page few ago.......

quit johning. you got ***** by trela who doesn't know the lucas MU as we have no lucas players in tx (seriously how people play that POS i do not know) so thus you are bad.

gluttony lost to you with a MU that is still in his favor. he sucks

@goofy

everyone is bad, it doesn't matter how good they are, they suck

for example, trela. he's good at brawl. he also got turned away at the canadian border for being bad. he also always attacks when landing.

i can do this all day, gimme a "good" player, ill show you why they suck in game and out of game.

^i think we have a winner

So you've reached the end of your journey and are sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what happened to MeekSpeedy at the Detroit/Windsor border. Well let me tell you, it's not every day that well-traveled canadians like ourselves are subject to sniff dogs (as I understand it, it's random). After yours truly was called out and told to put her phone away, sparing you guys from an onslaught of my long-overdue useless posts, the dog was brought out, and to our surprise, it outed MeekSpeedy as a suspicious fellow! He was brought aside where the officer said, within earshot of all the Greyhound passengers, that the dog only detects narcotics and firearms. Oh no! MeekSpeedy waht r u doin

So while our blue hedgehog friend was being questioned, pat down, and having his belongings searched, the rest of us skipped on our merry way through customs, including myself, who had come back from the same tournament. I re-boarded the bus and sat there in anticipation, wondering what atrocities were being committed against our Yoshi's Island-loving pal.

After a long and tense wait, wondering if I should have stayed behind to vouch for our Sega superstar if needed, Meekspeedy re-boarded the bus. And then this happened:
