For the past few weeks, I've played a ton. Mainly Mofo, going up to Maine twice (mega props to Th0rn/Banks/Solar/Diesel/IronChief/Pixel/IKnowIForgotLike5People)/TheIrishMafia and his friends.

I definitely noticed a difference in tourneys since then heh.

Yeah we already talked about you, I'm literally right next to Boston and pretty much can drive through Boston in less than 30 minutes. We will definitely play.

I'm basically done with playing tournaments at this point. I might think about being competitive again in the fall when I go back to school, since I'll be helping build the melee community there, but until then I probably won't enter anything. That said, if someone actually tells me when there will be smash and I'm available, I'll come play.

tl;dr: Get@me if you wanna play.

I was gonna get all butt-hurt 'cause I wasn't listed, but then i noticed that you left Spife out too. :laugh:

I'd carpool with Spife or Roman to any smashfest you guys host provided I have the day off, not that there's any conversations going on between us or anything.

why is it after well over a year I still feel like an outsider here?

because we dont have enough smashfests. The only ones we had consistently were the fight nights at game universe in framingham last summer (which were AMAZING). but yeah we need to step up.

If we go to any game underground in the area, there would probably be a $5 venue fee just to play but if you bring a setup it might be waived. I mean,,, its been like that in the past i think. so anyone trying to play this week somewhere?

not in WMA, there's like 4 or 5 of us lol. what's up with the palmer guy, does he play melee I'd make the trip, it's only like 15 minutes or so.

^^ it was mostly a shot @ the WMA players who never play eachother less often than the EMA players do lol. also only like 5 of you guys know my real name hahaha. >.<

actually I think Darc said he was surprised that someone he didn't know 4 stocked me @ MM 20, which is a compliment maybe? >.<;

too bad he didn't know that I lost practically every match I played that day. I got beaten by Omni so bad he asked me if I was feeling sick iirc.

I was playing sooooooo000oo0o0o0o bad that day though... the next tourny I'm gonna make up for that bit of embrassing nonsense, and not get stranded having to be towed home afterwards. what a bad day that was.

*AHEM* smashfests? I think I have this saturday off. =)

I've always wanted to play Arc actually. If you beat Darkrain you must be maaaaaaaaad good. 1,000 exp. points if I just get to spar with you lol.

@ Cog: yeah it was the crankshaft sensor. I still don't wanna take the truck too far before I get it a tune up too though. and the rear drums need replacing. lots of stuff I can't afford to do @ one time. :(

I think, though I'm not sure, that the Arc to whom you are referring is a different one who, I believe, lives in Kansas. ArcNatural is pretty good, though.

So anything happening this week/weekend??
