So guys (i.e. ZXV, EA, Scoot, Gords, Wvz, Invisi, etc.), there's a meet on this Friday as usual at Ted's house. I would seriously love to catch up with everyone again. I don't know what's been keeping everyone busy, but whatever it is, cancel it and head down by whatever means on Friday. Let me know what you’re doing.
Oh and EA, assuming that you'll be there, could you bring your tri-screwdriver thing? I need to make some adjustments to my L button.

Well, as far as I can see, there's no tourney on the 11th, here or out of state. I live in Concord, which is adjacent to Strathfield. Will post where exactly and how to get here later, once I confirm and organise this.
Although it is not confirmed, chances are looking decent of this being able to go ahead. We're thinking of buying some sausages and drinks and charging about $5 a head for lunch, thoughts? Also, people bringing setups would be appreciated; we can get the old TV out of the garage for 3 in total, but we still only have one Wii.

Ted, if we were to head down to Canberra like we talked about, it'd have to be this Sunday or Monday. They're the soonest days I can go. I wanted to get there earlier rather than later cause I needed to see Paul. He's in the Canberra hospital atm. The idiot broke his leg today jumping out of a tree into a shallow river. I know what he's going through atm and I'm sure he'd appreciate the company. Are those days good for you? Also, did you check with Luke? There are still some things I need to check with first, so I'm still not definitely going, but some confirmation would help tie things together.

Okay, talked to my parents, and it looks confirmed. Meet at my place Saturday 11th! Turn up whenever you're ready (about 10-11 at the earliest, but I'm assuming most people won't be awake by then, so just come whenever you're ready), and stay until the evening. We're not expecting to have people overnight, so please arrange to get home that evening.
We're also planning to provide sausage sandwiches for lunch, as well as drinks. We'll be charging $5 a head for this. We will need to know numbers in advance to plan for this, so please RSVP if you're coming. If you have preferences for drinks, please tell me so I know what to get. Please also tell me if you don't want sausage sandwiches so we can organise something (which will most likely result in bread + your choice of spread from whatever we've got).
My parents are quite conservative about personal information on the internet, so instead of posting my address here, I will pm it to you when you RSVP. As for getting there by public transport, you have two main options:
1. Train to North Strathfield, then a 10-15 minute walk.
2. Train to Burwood, then catch the 464/466/M41 bus in the direction of Mortlake/Cabarita/Macquarie. Get off at the first stop after the Coles on your left with the clock tower out the front at the beginning of a shopping strip (about 5 minutes from Burwood), and it's a 3-5 minute walk from there.
As for setups, we can pull out a few old TVs we don't use anymore for a total of 4 (though the one I've brought to tourneys gets complaints of lag), but we only have 1 Wii. If you can bring a TV, that's great, but we mainly need to focus of having enough Wiis to go around. We could comfortably fit 4 TVs inside, and we have a covered outdoor area that could fit a few more.
