Why you gotta live out your fantasies through China, Nix? Be a man, say that the Catalan
nation will rise again and reduce America to a state wherein we beg Britain to accept us back as a colony.

OK, /offtopic. Are we gonna work farther down the tier list, Sheer? It's getting pretty opinionated and subjective at this point; I'd be satisfied just with A, S, and Malva tiers.

I've always wanted to learn Esperanto, but a surprisingly low number of people speak it, considering it is the "universal language" after all...

And i c wut he did thar, but English is obscenely hard to learn and perfect. I wouldn't want to be a foreigner trying to learn this ****.

I don't think English is that hard to learn at a basic enough level to communicate to others. Sure it's hard to spell and there are tons of irregular verbs, but the good side is that there's pretty much only 2 tenses to learn conjugations for (all other tenses are accessed via modifier verbs like will/would/have)

You're right, but then again, I can communicate with my very basic (probably long-forgotten) knowledge of Spanish in only the present tense. They'll know what I'm talking about.

But if you want to communicate effectively and be taken seriously, you gotta learn everything, most of which comes from learning the language natively.

My Thermodynamics teacher has a PhD in both Fashion (or whatever the major is) and Mechanical Engineering, and has been in the country for years, yet still has trouble with basic grammar. I get "and so you look at this points on the line" oh so very much...

There are just so many inconsistencies and irregularities in English that even people speaking it for decades have trouble.

In theory, Spanish is actually the easiest in my eyes. There are weird rules and tenses, but they all make sense and have a place, unlike some English rules.

Well, the example you posted is not an inconsistency or irregularity in English :p

Could you give some examples? I don't think English grammar is the issue. There's some weird spellings and a lot of irregular conjugations but grammar I think is fine.

ok bro if we're looking at difficulty then any person whose first language is based on a latin alphabet, try learning chinese, or korean, or to a slightly lesser extent basic japanese.

don't even bother with grammar, tenses and usage rules yet, the characters alone will make you go XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Spanish is considered one of the easier languages to learn, at least to speak it as well.
Many of my friends traveled in south america for 4-6 months after the army, and all of them can speak semi fluent spanish now.

um, y are ppl talking about language in this thread
you know what, you made this offtopic debate start

I think the fact that english and spanish are probably the two most spread out languages speaks hints at them being easier than others
Chinese mandarin... mmhh its more about how big china is

Also Sempiternity, its pretty obvious that Esperanto was an epic fail

And then old man Glyph came in and ruined all the fun by saying anyone who discusses language and not the topic of this thread (which players belong in which tiers, if you've forgotten), will be reported/infracted!

Seriously though you guys know thats not okay, for shame.

No more.

Glyph sounds like a wise old man.

But is it not enough list already? Even if they all are many pages back in the thread, there are enough for sheer to look at and make on list I assume. And it don't look like its coming any new list either, since everyone is more interested in language than b-tier talk anyway.

He's a really cool falcon that showed up recently. I'd put him at high B tier.

Really innovative, has great combos that you don't see a whole lot with most falcons. As far as "good" goes, though, he's not spectacular; I don't think he'd be able to beat most of the people who play in A tier.

He does dumb **** sometimes when he plays against me, but that might just be part of the way he rolls.

I know who Johnny Speel is!!!

Rather not tell though.
Huh.

When I played Johnny Speel, he used Fox and I think he was sandbagging but I could tell he was good, like maybe A-tier at least. I'll have to play him more to know for sure though.

This guy is a giant mystery. WOTG, are you implying he's someone we know?
