IIRC Sheer doesn't like dittos in general. He doesn't think they are fun.

even as someone who is good in yoshi dittos, yoshi dittos are dumb

you can't DJC too often as DJCC's are used to punish everything

The ditto basically gets rid of combos which is dumb.

Sheer's fox imo is equally good as his yoshi.

dedrick iXi is good, he reminds me of a Matts! that does a lot of other more "technical" stuff

Ive played Holzberg and knitefox.

Knitefox gets predictable, Holzberg was good though.

Sheer probably hates yoshi dittos for the same reason I hated fox dittos, doesn't feel right and always turns into a "omgfirsttodothisorthat" desperation bout. (watch me get warned for this too lol, idc really ban me already butthurters)

honestly, i don't see why people resent it so much, why do people (much like sheer) hate dittos?

I personally don't like dittos because to me Smash is a game of how each character has a unique set of tools, and how they use these tools to deal with the options of other characters. When your opponent has the exact same options as you do it feels dumb to me.

I meant that you should learn the ditto matchup instead of avoiding it, not that they're a good way to improve in general. Like, Sheer is never going to improve his ****ty Yoshi ditto game if he keeps avoiding them.

Pretty much what star king said. Since all of the characters have their own special move-sets and strengths/weaknesses, it just feels boring when playing a ditto.

Except falcon, falcon dittos are still fun.

Competitive falcon dittos are annoying. When you are just playing friendlies, falcon dittos are really fun imo

They have the potential to be horribly lopsided, but can also make for some astounding comebacks, because it's possible to take five stocks without getting hit, over the span of five combos!

it's like there're more that 5 players at a time, two links, two boomerangs and lots of bombs... xD

I think Peek's Ness is better. I think Firo is better overall, though, because of his other characters.

each plays the others entire cast with their ness, who ever wins most...is ness champion!

Honestly if i had to make a comparison Firo is more devastating with ness while Peek is more creative

I cant deal with Firos Ness very well...my last run in with Peeks ness...I didn't fair badly :o

his combo vid was pretty sick, but you really can't get much of a synposis out of a combo vid, just how good their fluency is.

Peek's ness likes to jab and use yoyo's alot, peek also likes to space himself off-stage so he can't be gimped, which is a smart idea.
Frogle's ness likes to djc dair the living **** out of you.
Parallax's ness likes to djc uair in a ridicoulously fast manner, seriously, he had some awesome tech skill.
Firo's ness likes to..well, i don't know.

any other good ness mainers i missed?

Peeks ness is really creative, while firo's just punishes you so badly becuase he has the ill djc fair and bairs to dair. Peek uses 10x more usmash yoyo and plays around more.

Firo also has good other characters.

I enjoy playing ness very aggressively. In matchups where ness is forced to be defensive, like against samus or jigglypuff, ness becomes almost like a separate character as the play style changes for me. It's also why I like playing on dreamland a lot even though it stinks for ness because of the tendency for more aggressive play. It is interesting though how a lot of the ness players play very uniquely.

smash 64 in general is more fun when people play to do cool stuff rather than outright win by playing like a doosche

link dittos can be one of the funnest or one of the gheyest, much combo potential but its lame if one person insists on being a homoe

samus dittos are probably my fav after non-ghey link dittos

yoshi dittos are alright, some cheese factor though

fox dittos are stupid on every stage but in my experience people still suck at it so i enjoy it

worst are falcon, jiggly, kirby dittos
