smash 64 in general is more fun when people play to do cool stuff rather than outright win by playing like a doosche

link dittos can be one of the funnest or one of the gheyest, much combo potential but its lame if one person insists on being a homoe
this

10 link dittos

Firo is a LOT more aggressive with Ness.

I think it's for this reason i have such a hard time with him. Not many GOOD ness' player play aggressively (as if our limited number of "ness" mains wasn't enough) so it's very hard to deal with someone who knows ness very well and applies his hit boxes effectively with spacing...all the while being aggressive

For peek I can usually just throw djc yoshi aerials all over the place and land a couple, while firo I constantly have to watch my spacing.

I think both are equally as aggressive, though I would say peek is slightly more reckless and goes for too much.

The only thing I noticed is that firo is in his double jump 90% of the time so any sort of hit on a small stage will be detrimental (except grabs of course)

Peek has more usmash yoyo and is not in his second jump as often.

I would also say peek is a master at getting back to the ledge when he has a double jump, and his reverse ledge DI is quite impressive.

Pro-tip: Yoshi's neutral B ***** Ness's approach, and is really safe if you use it correctly. Makes the matchup SO much easier.

That holds true for any ranged grab, and forces them to stop their djc dancing or risk being punished.

The risk is higher than that of Yoshi's neut-B though.

Yoshi's neutral B is much safer and overall superior in dealing with Ness's approach, compared to other ranged grabs. Not only is it faster, and thus, harder to punish, but it can be done in the air, which means it can cover Ness players that attempt to full hop or use platforms to approach. Also, because of the ability to use it in the air, you can do retreating neutral B's, which are extremely hard to punish for Ness.

I have seen any sheer vs firo vids where sheer has to resort to the nuetral b for an approach, so I already knew about this tip.

I never really know how to punish them once they bounce out of the egg though. Do you just hit the egg a few times and run away?

Thanks though star king.

I usually just bair/nair the egg a few times, I'm not sure if that's optimal though. If the egg lands on a platform you should probably dair them.

The annoying thing is, there's a brief moment of invincibility for when they break out of the egg I think, so you can't just stick out a short hop nair above the egg and watch them pop out into it. Ah well.

Mmmm. So the goal is just to rack up damage in a safer fashion. Does being in the egg affect the damage ratio done to the foe inside?

What's Yoshi's highest DPS? Real time would probably be involved as mashing out is an active process, meaning SH D-Air isn't automatically the winner.

DJC N-Air is my guess, sort of like shield-breaking.

Dair isn't very good on an egg on the ground unless it's a big one (pretty much DK's). Nairs are probably your best bet for an egg on the ground, dair for on a platform.

Ik some people can shield break by djc bairs (and fair of course but thats rly rly hard), but nair is obviously faster.

As for DPS, I think nairs would be the best, but bairs could be close. A perfect djc dair can get all the hits in on a big egg iirc.

Ha! All of the players that people have put on their lists pale in comparison to the might Scarecrow! I've destroyed tons of them!

Ness dittos are just like Falcon dittos
In what sense? In the sense that they're high variance? Actually, I feel like Ness dittos are have a decent amount less variances than other Ness matches (not entirely sure why though).

Besides, Firo and I have played quite a few Ness dittos.

I feel that ness dittos are pretty different than falcon dittos, because in falcon dittos atleast the strategy and approach are unchanged from other matchups. In a ness ditto, the strategy changes from trying to combo and kill your opponent, to just get them off the edge. It's a matchup that I'm not too experienced with as it requires a very defensive and low-risk style of play.

Ness dittos are 100 times less predictable and way better than falcon dittos imo. Falcon dittos can be awesome at lower level but seriously, they get way too boring

If you are playing average players who only fthrow/usmash uair x 100000 upb then yeah its hella boring.

Falcon dittoz with boomfan are probably the most entertaining thing I can ever think of.
