I think I can get a pretty big venue for smashfests, but the problem is that it's in south jersey. No one lives down here

Thousands of dollars are awarded every weekend for this game. Tons of nationals where thousands are awarded at a single event. People fly across the world for this. Sponsors. Money. Business. Friendships. Competition.
I'd say it's a lot more than a children's party game. And if that's how you think of it, then lmao @ the time you spend on it.

I think its Keitaro, RJ, Inui, Ally, Riz, Nakat, Pwii.... then I dunno. I also don't know if all these players are coming for sure :0. I need that full carpool if we're going to DNA.

I kinda wanna go to DNA. They sound hype, but it would kinda be a **** move to my parents if I went to a tourney the day I come back (I get home friday night, but not the point)

I did get first at the tourney though and won $140, was the Ohio tourney I won 2 years ago.

Some kid stole $170 from me at school. Definitely not attending anything now. I planned to have my Smash career go out with a bang with CoT5 and Genesis, but now I can't afford it. Sorry, guys.

I had visited my dad the day before and he gave me the money as my late birthday present. I had a really long and stressful day after that and didn't get a chance to move the money out of my wallet, then had to bring it to school the next day since I have to pay for gas and food.

This might not be the correct place to ask, but is there a brawl tournament/smashfest somewhere in NY around 16 July till 21 july? I'm an european smasher but I happen to be there for a few days this summer together with my parents, so I was wondering if you guys got anything planned then where I could possibly hop in for a few hours or so.
