It's new/fun, and it's not like we have any brawl tournies going on right? No one has smashfests, so what about smash is there to be hype about right now?

There are actually smashfests in south jersey, but the majority of the players here suck. If anyone wants to hit one of them up though feel free.
they have mvc3 setups too usually.

I might just use X-23, Phoenix/Dorm and Storm. gotta get the game first!

Edit: I feel like X-23 is the worst assist character. Her only good assist is ankle slice and thats for OTG's, but I feel like she can't do anything outside of that.

On point, she's godlike.

I thought Phoenix was bad yo.

and x-23 has a bad assist and only for otg's? LOL, lrn2setupunblockables

It's impossible for it to not be lag, the lag is just too small to even notice in the first place, I've played in hdtv for like half my life with component cables tho, I did feel the lag from my hdtv tv to my normal but it's so small it doesn't even matter, I don't think it affects someone all that bad.

If your not using component cables, ur tv is probably laggin a few more frames, the only game were it matters is like guitar hero, there you will see the difference right away because sometimes the notes will desync with the image/music

So I want some help with 2 teams in marvel. One team consists of zero and wolverine and I want a 3rd character. A second team I want revolved around dark phoenix. Thinking of maybe putting modok with her and spamming projectiles to build bars

Sentinel is perfect with zero and wolverine. They both have amazing cross ups with zeros command dash and wolvys berserker slash so if you do drone assists with that, you get deadly results. and then for on point, sentinels self explanatory.

My phoenix team consists of dormammu whos like s tier and morrigan whos really good. morrigan has a meter building assist so i call her out all the time. ammy has the same assist. if you dont want those 2, you can gather meter quickly by doing team aerial combos and guessing right.

modok isnt that good of a choice(i troll people by replacing him with dormammu, holding up to fly and keep calling morrigan while i fly away till dark phoenix is ready but it really doesnt work)

so what you want is phoenix, 2 good characters that have long combos to gather meter, or phoenix with ammy/morrigan and a really good character.

Dark harmonizer. Morrigan comes in, gives you meter(about 30% of a bar), and leaves. The window to punish her is very small, and even if she gets hit you still get the meter.
