I kind of don't care to be a panelist this season. I've been paying a lot less attention to Smash lately and don't feel like I'd be able to do a good job. I have no idea who's even on the panel and until this thread title changed, had no clue when the season ended. I feel much more comfortable handing my position off to someone more involved.

@ mjg: Gotta get top 8 at MLG to get ranked, you were so close.

@ Doom: I added the season end date by adding 12 weeks from the old power rankings date and it came out to be the 29th. As for keeping up with smash, it wouldn't be that necessary as we would be able to provide you with the info you'd need the day of discussion but its all good if you wanna take a break from the panel.

@ Atomsk: I wouldn't mind that.

Real talk though, The only real active members are Me and Wyatt. Dan is semi active, and the rest of us don't play. No one is having a smashfest anytime soon, or ever again, most likely.

Keitaro, why must you be so forgetful? Give me back my spot as a panelist that I never vacated in the first place. This is something I discussed with both you and Doom in person.

The main reason you were "removed" was because you were the only panelist of both the NJ/NY panelists to be against the merger of the rankings. Also when discussion came up about you, I believe none of the panelists thought it was a problem to have you replaced(although Doom was the only panelist not in the discussion)

Although I hold the thread, I'm not the one who makes the decisions for the panel as we almost always make decisions in a chat room together. Just about all the current panelists will be at KTAR 4 so I'll wait till then to discuss Atomsk taking Doom's spot and for Inui to be back on the panel.

Both you and Doom told me in person you'd put me back on the panel. I am indeed against the merger; both regions are strong, large, and active enough on their own, and the list will end up with a 7/3 or 6/4 split in favor of NJ imo. That doesn't mean I wont be an effective and educated panelist as usual.

Chris, it would behoove you to keep your sense of humor to yourself with regards to me.

I have plenty of friends like Mike, Ryan, Bronson, and Devon to point stuff out for me or whatever. You know, people I spend a lot of real life time with and relationships not based on a game.
