Hm, yeah I've heard it tends to stay with Sony more. I guess it's just more of a thing for me that I like to have games that have good stories and long length's or stuff for replayability and I remember in my DS vs PSP debate (though I briefly wound up having both, even if my only game for PSP was Crisis Core) stuff like that and overall variety of game types was part of my deciding factors.

No they both have a terribad .3 megapixel camera.

Yes, it was a new thing for the DS but it wasn't that good lol. Apparently it hasn't upgraded at all from the dsi to 3ds but I'm pretty sure you weren't able to record videos on your DSi but now you can with the 3DS.

Pretty much, a crappy camera allows Nintendo to help cut down on the costs. But man, why can't any portable gaming device get a good camera?

Well think about it:
Nintendo puts a low quality camera on it, because the image quality from it will look fine on the 3DS. Where it matters. They didn't intend for people to go out and buy DSi/3DS systems because they wanted to replace their standalone camera with them.

Don't think it would kill them or Sony to at least make it a 5 mp camera. It's the norm in phones. 1.3 MP camera phones were introduced about 8-10 years ago. Get with the times. It would be pretty neat if it had a quality 3D camera, but that would bump up the price considerably.

I never have really even used any of those camera functions outside of trying out AR cards, Face Raiders, and the system for the first time.

The only reason why it is bad is because both the 3DS and the Vita are capable of AR games. Crappy camera means crappy AR games, as people will notice the fuzzy nature of the picture.

The game's graphics might be nice still, but the world they are supposed to be in will look like garbage, which takes away from the magic of it all.

The system was $169 (I paid the $250) so you can't expect a quality camera of a $300 canon. They give you good graphics, but they have to subtract the cost somewhere or else the system would cost $1000 or something.

The camera is hardly the main attraction of the system anyway, so being low quality shouldn't be a burden to the overall experience.

Although I miss the face distorting options used for the DSi. Creating abominations from your own face is pretty fun.

Yah it makes me mad they won't release GBA games to everyone.
I'd pay $10-$15 for a VC GBA game and it would be easy money for them.

You can only choose one color per note though.
Looks like Nintendo is pretty adamant on Colors 3D being the main way to do artsy stuff on the 3DS.

I'm going for the playing cards.

I'm not a fan for posters. Besides, I used to be a Texas Hold'em player. LOL

Posters are flashier and appear more apparent. No one is gonna spot some playing cards unless you shove them in a person's face.

But the cards do look classier.
