You're in for a pleasant surprise.I just got 3D Land for my Birthday.
It's pretty good so far (I'm on World 5 right now), but I'm just so surprised on how short the worlds are and that Mario seems much slower than in previous games.
I thought that too. It was a little saddening that it was shorter and trying to find things to make it seem longer.I completely lost interest in Mario Land 3D about 3 Special Worlds in. It's a solid game but the praise has been completely blown out of proportion to me. It's like a crappier budget version of Mario Galaxy.
I thought so. I think it may vary on when it happens. Because it happened to me twice, and all I did was went back to the home menu, and restarted the game.It happened to me too. Then I forgot which scenario but there is a drop in speed on the audio.

Yeah, but also game reviewers were saying similar stuff as to game length.Developers always over exaggerate on game length. Zelda: SS was supposed to be 60 hours![]()
Yep. That bonus stage is awesome. One long gauntlet taking you through the game's most memorable moments. Ammo pickups at like the halfway mark, and no health pickups I believe. Enemies start off weak, then start getting more and more difficult the farther you go.That's still not bad for a Resident Evil.
I'm expecting to get a lot of longevity out of Raid Mode.
You're not forgetting to hold the Y button, are you?Mario seems much slower than in previous games.
I'm on world 8 but i've enjoyed it to the point where I've gotten. I've played at a really slow pace and I think its lacking content, but the overall game experience has been really good. I've enjoyed the 3D and playing through the game a lot so far. I feel as if the gameplay isn't the best but it's a game I wont forget anytime soon because of the visuals...I completely lost interest in Mario Land 3D about 3 Special Worlds in. It's a solid game but the praise has been completely blown out of proportion to me. It's like a crappier budget version of Mario Galaxy.
What was so bad about the DS port/version?MYST is coming to the 3DS
Apparently it also had a bad port on the DS.
I just might get it. I remember playing it when I was really young and not really getting it
I never played it, It's just what was said on the article about the 3DS version being releasedWhat was so bad about the DS port/version?
Problem with that theory is that the Circle Pad shouldn't be in high demand. Only 1 game uses it as of now. Which means RE is selling well, and that people see the value of the device. Or that people want to prepare for Snake Eater (understandable, as it comes out next week) or KI (odd choice, as the game doesn't come out for another month.)I think also the reason for being sold out would be that GS is the only place that is selling it? >_>
GameStop often gets their game dates wrong on their website/in-store. Sometimes they're simply placeholders.Gee, I wonder why? Oh, I know, maybe because the Circle Pad is actually a good device.
It may look bad, but it isn't. Just play RE or Snake Eater with it, and you'll see why its sold out.
Speaking of Snake Eater, I hate how GameStop cannot get their dates right on their site. Snake Eater was said to come out tomorrow, but it actually comes out next week. No biggie, but I was kinda pumped for it.
Way to limit your profits, Nintendo. Should also let other electronic stores (i.e. Walmart, FS, BB etc.) sell them.I think also the reason for being sold out would be that GS is the only place that is selling it? >_>
Or...Nintendo expected it to not sell well, and did not produce that many? Lol...you gotta look at the flip side too. They did the exact same thing with the Nintendo Wii, where they purposely did not meet the "demand", causing more demand in the process.Problem with that theory is that the Circle Pad shouldn't be in high demand. Only 1 game uses it as of now. Which means RE is selling well, and that people see the value of the device. Or that people want to prepare for Snake Eater (understandable, as it comes out next week) or KI (odd choice, as the game doesn't come out for another month.)
Either way, the Circle Pad must have some sort of value if people want to purchase it now.
