I'm surprised that some people are surprised that Capcom made that error, they've been ****ing up the past while IMO.

Pretty sure whoever was in charge of that got fired. A lot of money to reprint and ship to customers who want a fixed cover.

Ha, ha, I saw that and laughed. It doesn't surprise me because after playing so many Capcom games, I've seen a lot of grammar and spelling errors not just on the game boxes but in-game too. I dunno why they allow that to slip so much.

One game in particular with massive spelling errors is Resident Evil Outbreak and the second game File#2.

I'm not going to replace the cover, because I find it hilarious.

Anyways, I ran into a problem the other night while playing. (I prefer to play campaign in the dark.)

I was playing the game for a good while, and about 3-4 cut-scenes had audio that played too fast. Now, I have no idea if this was caused because of a super long play session (about 2.5 hours long at that point) or if Capcom messed up again. (This all happened around the engine room segment in Chapter 2 of the game.)

Just curious to see anybody have the same problem as me.

I just got 3D Land for my Birthday.

It's pretty good so far (I'm on World 5 right now), but I'm just so surprised on how short the worlds are and that Mario seems much slower than in previous games.

I bought my GF a Red 3DS for valentines day.

I think she thought I was just getting a DS lite. I better get an amazing amount of love for this ****

a 3DS AND Mario Kart 7. although I refuse to play against her because I'm sure she will rage at the amount of losses she will receive

Anyone still think super mario land is still to short even with the extra worlds?
Im doing a luigi play through because I just didn't want to be done with it.

I completely lost interest in Mario Land 3D about 3 Special Worlds in. It's a solid game but the praise has been completely blown out of proportion to me. It's like a crappier budget version of Mario Galaxy.

I thought that too. It was a little saddening that it was shorter and trying to find things to make it seem longer.

It happened to me too. Then I forgot which scenario but there is a drop in speed on the audio.

:phone:
I thought so. I think it may vary on when it happens. Because it happened to me twice, and all I did was went back to the home menu, and restarted the game.

Oh, and I just beat RE last night. 12 hour game my ***. I beat it in 9 hours on Normal.

Developers always over exaggerate on game length. Zelda: SS was supposed to be 60 hours :troll:
Yeah, but also game reviewers were saying similar stuff as to game length.

That's still not bad for a Resident Evil.

I'm expecting to get a lot of longevity out of Raid Mode.
Yep. That bonus stage is awesome. One long gauntlet taking you through the game's most memorable moments. Ammo pickups at like the halfway mark, and no health pickups I believe. Enemies start off weak, then start getting more and more difficult the farther you go.

It actually surprised me at how much fun Raid mode was, despite how simple of an idea it is.

Honestly I remember to but I don't use it. I just don't see much of a difference between his running and walking speed.

For example in other Mario games you can instantly reach your max speed and jump after 1 second of holding down the run button, but in this game it seems that you have to work your way up to a max jump or speed.

I'm on World 7 right now.

I'm on world 8 but i've enjoyed it to the point where I've gotten. I've played at a really slow pace and I think its lacking content, but the overall game experience has been really good. I've enjoyed the 3D and playing through the game a lot so far. I feel as if the gameplay isn't the best but it's a game I wont forget anytime soon because of the visuals...

Usually I don't play games for that, but the overall experience has been pretty good

I just finished 3D Land and I unlocked Luigi.

I must say the special worlds are rather nice as in they add a bit more challenge to an otherwise easy game. The Mario doppelganger is pretty annoying though. :p

MYST is coming to the 3DS

Apparently it also had a bad port on the DS.

I just might get it. I remember playing it when I was really young and not really getting it

Gee, I wonder why? Oh, I know, maybe because the Circle Pad is actually a good device.

It may look bad, but it isn't. Just play RE or Snake Eater with it, and you'll see why its sold out.

Speaking of Snake Eater, I hate how GameStop cannot get their dates right on their site. Snake Eater was said to come out tomorrow, but it actually comes out next week. No biggie, but I was kinda pumped for it.

Let me tell you something . . . if you are a fan of the RE series . . . then get RE. I was worried and then glad that the price was no longer $49.99 (It got dropped to $39.99) and let me tell you, it might as well been $49.99. (It was that good. Raid mode is so much fun as well.)

I don't see why people would want to get Snake Eater unless they never really played much of it on PS2. Which is me, so I'll be picking it up sometime next week. (Even though I have the PS2 version. Sue me.)

I think also the reason for being sold out would be that GS is the only place that is selling it? >_>
Problem with that theory is that the Circle Pad shouldn't be in high demand. Only 1 game uses it as of now. Which means RE is selling well, and that people see the value of the device. Or that people want to prepare for Snake Eater (understandable, as it comes out next week) or KI (odd choice, as the game doesn't come out for another month.)

Either way, the Circle Pad must have some sort of value if people want to purchase it now.

I'd purchase the Circle Pad myself if it wasn't for that Kid Icarus still hasn't come out yet. I really don't want to play the game on a stand with the uncomfortable stylus when I can just spend a bit more money on the pad and take it anywhere with me

GameStop often gets their game dates wrong on their website/in-store. Sometimes they're simply placeholders.

Way to limit your profits, Nintendo. Should also let other electronic stores (i.e. Walmart, FS, BB etc.) sell them.

Or...Nintendo expected it to not sell well, and did not produce that many? Lol...you gotta look at the flip side too. They did the exact same thing with the Nintendo Wii, where they purposely did not meet the "demand", causing more demand in the process.

Snake Eater was a great game, but as far as the 3DS goes I think I would've preferred Twin Snakes or Sons of Liberty.
