I actually didn't think about that, but it's kind of odd that Mewtwo is one of the antagonist pokemon in this game, then. Oh well, crossovers already try to **** up whatever is canon anyway.

It's odd because, as one of the few genetically engineered Pokémon, Mewtwo should not have existed yet during the feudal era, unless the Kanto region too happened some long time ago in a reality far far away.

Yeah, that makes sense. I more saw the post I quoted as questioning Mewtwo's personality being evil enough to be an antagonist. And considering his role in the first pokemon movie, I thought Mewtwo would fit as an antagonist. The time era definitely doesn't make sense but I severely doubt this game will be canon.

Skylanders assemble!
For our first meeting of 2012, we're calling in the heroes of Skylands to defend Princeton. Intrigued by the concept of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure? Already a fan? Come and play this wonderful cross platform, toy/video game hybrid with us. While you're at it, size up your skills with a very tricky challenge and test your Skylanders knowledge with our trivia contest for a chance to win prizes.

Looking for other stuff to do? Well if you're pushing for some of Nintendo's new eShop game, Pushmo, then be sure to be a part of our Pushmo QR challenge for your opportunity to win Perler bead sprites based off of the challenges we have in store. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords will also be featured, and we will be ending the event with a raffle, so be sure to stop by!

Food and beverages will be provided for all attendees including an assortment of baked goods, chips and soda. As always, don't be afraid to bring along any of your other favorite 3DS and DS games for casual play!

--- Meet and Greet Sign-in featuring Four Swords - Starts at 1:00PM
What's a better way to get to know someone than playing games and chatting it up? Sign in, relax, snack, and team up to get through The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords the way it was meant to be played - through multi-player fun!

--- Skylanders Demos & Challenge - Starts at 2:00PM
We will have two stations set up to play Skylanders on the Wii, and one on 3DS. We will be playing Co-Op Adventure mode and having PvP Battle arena matches. New and experienced portal masters alike are free to play with our provided Skylanders champions, and already established portal masters are encouraged to bring their own champions for the full Skylanders experience!

Also take part in the Spectral Chompie Challenge. The first player to beat the Heroic challenge "Save the Purple Chompies" with our fully upgraded Skull Master path Ghost Roaster will win a single Skylanders Figure.

--- Pushmo QR Challenge - Starts at 3:30PM
We will be holding two rounds of pushing puzzle challenges. Each challenge will consist of 5 QR puzzles you must scan and complete. The first person to complete all 5 puzzles will win a perler bead sprite of their choice based off of the puzzles designs. Winner of the first round may not participate in the second.

--- Raffle & Skylanders Trivia - Starts at 4:30PM
To wind down the event we will be raffling off some cool prizes. Be sure to enter for your chance to win one of the following: a Toad plush doll, an X-stylus, or a 3DS Virtual Console Game!

After the raffle, Portal Master Spectre would also like to test your Skylanders knowledge with a trivia contest. Prizes awarded are TBD.

Currently enjoying the Sacred Stones, on chapter 6

If this isn't even one of the better ones, than FE must be amazing!

Sacred Stones isn't that good mainly because it's one of the easier ones. You easily can grind out your characters whenever you want in this one.

The core gameplay is the same though, with this one being easier it might be a good starting point for people new to the series.

I've never actually played it but I think you can get extra characters but they cost money. They come in the forum of action figures which probably gives it more appeal.

So after keeping my original platinum DS ever since 2006, would you think it is worth it to get the 3DS and upgrade? Games such as Star Fox and LoZ look amazing on the 3DS, and they look like they can last me until newer games such as Kid Icarus comes out. Plus, I could always play by DS games still, since I will be keeping them.

So, should I get it? Or wait to purchase it?

EDIT: Whoops, I almost forgot that Mario Kart came out. So, I'll be getting that too if I buy a 3DS.

If your only reason of getting it RIGHT NOW is remakes you should wait and just get the original games through vc or an emulator.

I would get it just for Mario 3DLand. Like seriously, such a fantastic game. I'ma hopefully get MK7 and Sonic Generations after christmas. Oh and it also gives me a portable BlazBlue (well until Extend next month :/) since I don't have a PSP.

The 3DS library is starting to fill out with nice, high quality games, it's pretty great.

Just go for it, lol. The joystick add-on isn't that bulky, and you'll miss out on the free Four Swords. I'm also pretty sure they said Four Swords WON'T be available for purchase once it's no longer free.
