The easiest way to prevent any screen scratching or lines is to put some rubber bumpers on the top screen. I used two from the bottom of my xbox 360 and I haven't had any lines since.

I'm starting to feel like I might pick this system up this christmas.

Between the new sonic game, mario land 3d, mk7, and ocarina, there's a lot of good reason to own it.
Do it Dast! You won't regret it.

I just used a couple of those things you stick to the bottom of chair legs to keep them from scuffing the floor on the two corners of it. Works fine.

In some lucky twist, I don't seem to have any problems with my 3DS

It gets pretty hot when I play it hours on end though. Not sure if it's from the heat of my hands or the computer overheating.

Holy ****, the 3DS is starting to look pretty nice. DLC, 3D video recording, and achievements.

It's a move made to draw in more attention. Cause there are those silly people who place weight on achievement points and trophies.

I find them silly. I was once asked about why I have so little Achievements unlocked compared to the number I could have (Probably have 10-20 percent). Ooooooh weeellllllllll

Not having achievements is worse than having them. I don't actively go after them, but I like getting them.

I enjoy going for achievements, they add replay value to my games and make me do stuff which I would normally not do.

I like extra content. They add replay value and do the same as above.

I dno't even know how that crap got popularized.

Whatever works, I guess.

The 360, then Sony copied achievements with trophies, steam did that too etc.

You say that like achievements and extra content are mutually exclusive.

So I FINALLY got that pack that doubles the 3DS's battery life.

Lets see if it actually holds its claim.

lol, a 480 hour boost to the 3DS' battery life off of a single AAA? Nintendo might as well admit they also developed cold fusion.

All the articles on that are misleading. The slide-pad itself lasts 480 hours. Doesn't affect the 3DS at all.

Especially when literally the only thing that connects the two is the IR port... I mean seriously, think sometimes.

Gee willickers, thanks! I don't know what I would have done without you.

I mean seriously, read posts sometimes

"hahaha, for a minute there I thought it meant that the slidepad also doubled as a battery pack...and that with the slidepad the 3DS' battery time was 480 hours."

I'm going to love playing my 3DS 480 hours straight without needing a recharge!

I'm not going to play any shooters on the 3DS so it doesn't matter to me regardless.
