Actually I searched on the 3ds itself when I noticed. Some guy said that some screens were just manufactured like that and Nintendo wouldn't change it. Some say it's normal and they have it too, and some have even had some really serious problems, like buttons messing up and dead pixels.

Anyway, I was just playing OoT in the Temple of Time (A good place to test seeing as the place is mostly white) and noticed that the dim changes to a cool tint when the 3d is turned up. So it's warmer colors off and cooler colors when it's on, kinda like changing settings on a tv. Now I really don't know if this is intentional. XD

I've watched gameplay vids and it doesn't look anything like mkds snaking
It's prob a minor step up from Mkwii kart snaking.

From what is shown, snaking is more effective than in Mario Kart Wii, but less than in Mario Kart 64 or Double Dash.

I bought Mario 3d land
WI motion plus controller
a wii senser bar
league of legend card
and he let me have mario kart 7 even though i didnt pre order it (he said ill let u have it this time) :D

Your doing something wrong, because Mario 3D land's 3D showed what the 3DS can look like at it's finest

Some puzzles, which I say lightly, are a lot more difficult without the 3D on

Getting stars means beating every level perfect with mario and luigi

I'm starting to feel like I might pick this system up this christmas.

Between the new sonic game, mario land 3d, mk7, and ocarina, there's a lot of good reason to own it.

I suggest waiting till they redesign the 3DS, then you'll have lots of games to play and a better handheld to boot!

Wasn't the SP released two years after the original GBA? And the DS Lite released a similarly long time after the original DS? Following those two examples, the 3DS redesign would supposedly not happen until Christmas next year or later.

That is correct for the GBA and GBA SP. The DSL was released two years after the original DS. And it included the most new features. (I think most people bought the DSL over the DS phat?)

I can wait another year or two for the 3DS revision. It'll be worth it after hearing about the screen scratching issues with the current 3DS and lack of first-party AAA games.

I've learned to not be an early adopter cause most of the time, they get screwed over.

The newer models seem to have fixed the issue. The ones from the first 3-to-6 months didn't have large enough stoppers on the top screen to prevent it from rubbing against the framework of the bottom.

The DS Phat was discontinued shortly after the DS Lite was released. That's why more people have the Lite than the Phat. The Lite was pretty much a direct upgrade from the Phat, too. At least the original GBA and SP had significant differences.
